What's Your WHY, Your Goals! Comment below and share with us or PM / email them to your Upline by Wed 12 noon time the latest. This info is soo helpful to your new business but also to your sponsor coach so they can best help you! 2. Make a list of 20 people you know and email it to me or your sponsor coach, text me a picture of it or post it here. It doesn’t need to be legible to me and/or you can just include first names (it’s just to have the accountability to get it done). To jog your memory of people you know, use your email contact list, your phone contact list, your Facebook friends list, your work directory, former classmates, relatives, church groups, community groups, neighborhood directory, etc. Aim for at least 20 people you know in the U.S. and Canada. Your list is one of your biggest assets if you use it. This is a step many new coaches skip, thinking the list in their head of people they think are relevant to this will suffice, and that is a huge mistake… trust me on this, this written list is critical. Don’t view a lack of posting as a lack of interest. Reach out to Coaches who do not seem to be posting in the group. I can't wait to read what you have to say! Whoohoo! Go You! 3 Vital Behaviors Ok, It’s ( day of the week) !! Beachbody® has established 3 Vital Behaviors coaches should engage in daily. They are: Invite, Be Proof the Products Work, and Personal Development. You can help more people if you are connecting with more people. You can gain more credibility if you are using the products. And you can gain killer confidence and grow as a person if you are working on YOU thru personal development. So here’s your to-do list for tomorrow and EVERY DAY. I’ll post tomorrow night, and EVERY NIGHT, asking how you did with each of these. 1. Workout and make it count! . 2. Drink Shakeology and track your food consumption. Nutrition is largely responsible for results. 3. With network list you made, friend 1-2 people that you’re not friends with yet on facebook. Friend request your friends friends that you know as acquaintances. Say Hi! Reconnect with OLD High School friends you know but may not have had a relationship with! 4. Read or listen to at least 15 minutes of personal development. 5. Re-connect with 2-3 people from your list of everyone you know (send a facebook message, text or email with “Hey, how are you? What’s new?”). If they ask what YOU are up to, be prepared to tell them you’ve started a business, but do NOT vomit info. Let them ask what it is. If they ask, be prepared to just say you’ve teamed up with Beachbody (the creators of P90X, Insanity, Turbo, & nutritional supplements) to help people with fitness & health. Leave it at that. 6. List 10 non-fitness topics of interest to you & friends (cooking, décor, food, sports, music, etc). 7. How many times did you post something (of quality content) on facebook/instagram? The goal with FACEBOOK is posting 2-3x per day on a topic related to your top 10 interests above, and only ONE per day needs to be subtly fitness/nutrition related. The goal with IG is to post 80%-90% of your “thing”, 10% random other interests of yours. So IG has to be very specific, unlike facebook. Your like page however can be the same as IG posts. But FYI, you do NOT need a like page yet. 8. How many friends do you have on SM sites now? (Not a popularity contest, this is for tracking). ***** Biggest Home Work - Connect and reconnect with 5 friends today from your list of 20 OR GO BIG and reconnect with 10 or MORE! Hey, how are you? Next up to be learned: Brainstorming challenge group. Re-review through the document “Promoting and Running Your First Challenge Group” attached in the files of this group. The document also covers how you’ll actually RUN the group and how the group members will simply report in daily on workouts and nutrition. We’ll train more later on ideas for keeping your group bonded and engaged. For now, let’s start brainstorming the key pieces. Please identify: 1. What will the start and end date be? 2. What will you name it? 3. How many days/weeks will you have to promote it and mention it in messages? 4. If someone is going to order a product/program or Challenge Pack, by what date would they have to order to receive it by the start date of your challenge? 5. What will you require of your challengers (any purchase, no purchase necessary, just a program or shakeology, etc). 6. How will you determine the winner? (I recommend % of body weight lost, inches and participation in the group). 7. How will you reward the winner? (you do not have to provide a prize of any kind… if you give your winner a shoutout, always ask their permission first). One of my goals for your first 30 days is to help you earn enough income to at least cover your own Shakeology. Over time, you can grow a very lucrative income if you continually sponsor new coaches on your team and are always training and mentoring them to help them become successful.. THAT team bonus is where the huge income opportunity comes from in this business; from developing business leaders, not from making sales. BUT..I still don't think you should lead with any agenda to sell,.. just be really familiar with all of the solutions you have for people in regards to fitness, nutrition, energy, vitamins, sculpting, and skin care so that you're prepared to offer it as a suggestion when they make mention of their issue/problem/goal. There are many different ways to handle this, but I definitely recommend only handing them out to those who are TRULY interested in trying it. Whenever possible, MAKE IT FOR THEM. If you can’t, give them a sample and be sure to ask them for their email address so you can email them your favorite recipe. This also gives you the opportunity to contact them for follow up. After you’ve sent the recipe, and have asked what their fitness/weightloss goals are, follow up a few days later with “Btw, have you had a chance to try it yet?” Some Coaches charge for the samples they hand out. A traditional charge is $5. But you’re better off having them buy the Shakeology Sampler Pack - $19.95 for 2 Chocolate, 1 Vanilla and 1 Greenberry. Always track who you’ve ever given a sample of Shakeology. Follow up to make sure they got it or ask if they got the recipe you emailed...stay in touch in general. As most of you already know, Success Club is an incentive program to help you grow your business and achieving Success Club is a great goal to have month to month. To gain Success Club points in addition to the tasks you already do, I recommend hosting monthly challenges and introduce the business at least to 3 people per week (we’ll talk more about HOW to introduce the business in a couple of days). By meeting the requirements below in any given month, you’ll be assigned Shakeology HD customers in the next month. So for example, if you meet this criteria this month, next month you will be eligible to receive 13 Shakeology HD customers assigned to you. They don't get taken away and you receive commission monthly on their shakeology orders: 1. Become an Emerald Coach 2. Today's lesson we're going to focus on growing your network on Facebook. Everyday we want to add 1-3 new friends per day. Create relationship with people you click with. Connect with people you have things in common with. List below who you've added today with a brief description of F.O.R.M. I realize many of you are working fulltime and I just need you know to.. I GET IT. I've been there..it’s not easy but most build their business while working full-time and parenting..it can be done if you want a better, more balanced life, with LESS work in the near future! So many build a traditional business working around the clock only to maybe break-even in their first year... with certainly no potential to profit 6 or 7 figures within 2-3 years, not to mention the stress of employees, overhead, overflowing bills & the usually-large investment that goes into it. What we do is not easy, but it's so much easier, less risky, ...and more fulfilling than anything else I know Please report here on your 6 items. NEXT UP TO BE LEARNED: Objections. Are you hearing objections? Of course you are! If you aren’t it means you really aren't asking enough people. So let’s be real, EVERYONE hears them regardless of how successful your business becomes. In fact, the most successful people are the ones who’ve received the most objections. The difference between them and people who aren’t successful: they’ve mastered the art of overcoming the objections and knowing when to just be their friend and move on from the business or fitness conversation. What are some of the things you have heard and how you overcame them? Your first step is to always relate to what they've said. Make a list of every objection you can think of, along with what you think the appropriate response would be... this isn't easy and I don't believe there is a script that works for every person or every situation.. the key is to know who you are talking to and what their needs/goals are .. and to know the difference between clarifying a misconception and trying to drag/convince someone (you want to avoid the latter). Post your most challenging objections below. LEADER TIPS • Remind them to review the objections and situations in How to Overcome Objections training for examples and scripts to use. • Emphasize that the more time they spend on Step 2, the fewer objections they will get. Once you learn what people are looking for and you’re able to show them a solution, price will no longer be an issue. Post to Files: Questions and Objections Questions and Objections Objections fall into one of two categories. The first is the prospects’ limiting belief in their abilities. They aren’t sure they can be successful. The second is a limiting belief in Network Marketing. They aren’t sure Networking Marketing will help them achieve their goals in life. When Prospects have a limiting belief in their abilities: Most common objections in this category are: “I don’t have the money,” “I don’t have the time,” “It’s not my thing,” “I’m not a salesperson,” “I don’t know anyone,” or “I’m too old/too young/ have no experience,” No need to make yourself seem smarter and the prospect seem stupid with responses like, “You don’t have the money? Do you have a cable bill? Do you have a cell phone? Do you ever go out to dinner? You have lots of money! Or “You don’t have the time? How long do you want to have that reality in your life? You have to change if you want your life to change!” Instead! Be relatable! =) When someone tells you they don’t have the money. Respond with something like, “I had that same exact challenge! I didn’t have enough money to pay my bills, let alone start a new business. But when I thought about it, I realized if I didn’t have enough money to pay my bills now, how was I going to change that in the future? I was tired of being behind. I was tired of always scrambling. I wanted more out of life. So you know what I did? I found a way, and it was the best decision I ever made! Let me ask you something…if you really felt this was a chance for you to take control for your financial future, do you think you could find a way to make it happen?” Watch this short clip for a sample: http://www.sarahrobbins.com/objections-series-i-dont-have-money-to-start-a-business/ Not your story? Use another coach’s story that is similar to your prospects! Be a story collector and share as needed! Stories INSPIRE others and SHOW others it CAN be done and what IS possible! “I know what you mean. I have a friend who had that exact same problem and let me tell you their story.” 2. When people have limiting beliefs about Network Marketing: This category includes: “Is this MLM?” “Is this one of those things?” “Is this a pyramid scheme?” “I’m not interested in MLM.” “I don’t want to bother my friends,” and “How much are you making?” Let’s start with the “Is this MLM?” or variations like, “Is this one of those things? Or, “Is this a pyramid scheme?” or, “I’m not interested in MLM.” Instead of going crazy and saying something like, Pyramid Scheme? Like every corporation in the world? Like the government? You mean like that? Instead be understanding and come from a place of teaching after you understand. Usually this type of question comes from someone who knew someone who joined with no success or else they’ve done it themselves (usually “hoping with luck” that it would work without putting in the work). The others have heard of opportunities like this and are rightfully skeptical of the promise of getting rich quick. If they ask this question with any type of emotion it’s a hint they’ve been involved in some type of MLM. Simply ask the question, “Wait a minute. You have a story. What happened? Were you involved in Networking Marketing (OR another similar company) at some point? Then just let them tell you their story. It opens them up! It lowers their defense and allows you to ask some questions about their experience. You can now learn more about why they are skeptical and help them learn more about how they can be successful. Most will respond, “I joined a company a few years ago, bought some product and lost my money.” Ask them, “What do you think was the reason you didn’t have success?” They will most likely respond with “well my friend talked me into it. I didn’t have a lot of time and I thought more people would join right away but they didn’t. I guess I just lost interest.” Your reply to them, “do you think you really gave it a fair shot?” They may respond with something like, “No, not really.” Your response, “do you think Network Marketing (name of company/ product) was the problem? Or do you think maybe your timing wasn’t right?” They reply back to you, “it was probably the timing.” Additionally, you can relate to them by saying you had the same objection initially and telling them how you overcame it. If someone uses the work “pyramid” I always say “oh no. “Pyramid schemes are illegal, and I would never be involved with something illegal.” 3. For the question, “I don’t want to bother my friends,” Again relate to them by telling your story or someone else’s story. And then ask questions like, “what makes you think you’d be bothering your friends? Or, “if you truly believed in the product, would you let your friends know about it? And, “if I could show you how we share this product with others without feeling or sounding like a sales pitch, would that help you?” 4. “How much are YOU making?” If you are making money already, this is a great question. If you’re not, your answer depends on how long you’ve been involved. If you’re brand new, you can tell them you’re just getting started. If you’ve been around for a while and not making big money yet, you can tell them you are working this part-time and are really excited about your future. You could also say that you’re excited about your future with this company because you knew things weren’t going to change if you didn’t do something to change them. 5. “I’m so busy, I don’t have enough time to do this!” Here is how you may respond, “I understand how you feel. I felt the same way when I got started. I was teaching kindergarten full time, and working this business very part time. But that’s not uncommon. We’ve found that most people work this business in very part time hours – working it into your everyday life on your own time, on your own terms! Starting with just about 10-15 hours per week, I was able to build a big business.” Tell stories of people who are working their business part time successfully! You can even suggest setting up a phone conversation with those people so they can feel more comfortable about the opportunity. All of this takes practice and lots of repetition! Your goal is to get the concepts down not the exact verbiage. The other great thing is you only have this handful of the same objections for the rest of your career. There’s nothing new here. When you’re introducing the business to someone, it should be ONLY because they have said something in conversation (in person or in messages/emails) & that statement led you to believe they have a problem/situation/need that could be helped/solved with the coaching business. So you're NOT bringing it up out of the blue. You're bringing it up as a possible solution "have you ever considered doing what I do to help with _______?” Maybe they need more money, a better paying career, or a more balanced lifestyle, a more rewarding line of work, a discount on Shakeology or programs, maybe they're already inspiring people in fitness and this just gives them more solutions to offer people, or maybe they just want something positive in their life that will also help them get healthier. Whatever it is, have your ears WIDE OPEN (I find it easier to have these conversations online… not in person) to these issues, problems, needs so that you can simply ask “Well have you ever considered coaching to help with ____?” This question is how you introduce the business to someone. You’re just introducing the THOUGHT at this point. You’re planting a seed of interest and nothing more at this point. Track who you’ve asked the question regardless of their level of interest when they reply. Some of the LEAST interested people are interested LATER but you would never know that unless you have them on a list and followed up on it at some point when it’s appropriate. This question being asked to *at least* 3 people per week, and tracking those names on an official list so that you know who could potentially benefit from this business, IS CRITICAL TO YOUR BUSINESS SUCCESS. It takes asking a minimum of 10 people before you can expect that 3 of them will join you in time. Therefore expect MOSTLY disinterest.. But don’t expect any of them to outwardly show immediate interest.. it very rarely happens that way. I wasn't even very interested at first. I really thought network mktg was for "other people".. lol. Please share your thoughts/fears/hesitations/questions below. Day 19 Daily To-Do List Hey Team! Happy Monday!! Hope you all enjoyed the gorgeous weekend! I hope you also had productive week! Today is day 19!! Please report here for your 6 items. Next up to be Learned: The importance of to-do lists! These activities are just too easy NOT to do. The Law of 3’s may help you put together a daily to-do list if you haven’t already. (Many of these are a part of Team HardCore, & Team INSPIRE Nation's Critical Core Activities. Feel free to copy & paste these into a document on your phone or on your pc). o Add at least 3 new friends/followers every day & connect, engage, compliment, ask a question,etc o Message at least 3 people/day from your list of everyone you know.. A QUICK msg to strengthen relationships w/people you like “How are you?” “How’s work?” or “How are the kids?” etc. o Post quality content at least 3x/day (content that YOUR friends/followers would want to like or comment on. Facebook content should have variety; i.e. 1 post per day is fitness/health the other 2 are things you’re interested in & your followers are interested in. You don’t need to post about Beachbody; in fact make it a fitness/health/nutrition post most can relate to. Instagram is the opposite ratio, i.e. stay relevant to your topic & only occasional post something off-topic. Start an IG account if you haven’t yet. The TIMING of your posts must align with the timing your friends & family are on Social Media. Does this take thought and creativity? YES, and you’ll get better with practice). *Top times of the day are 9am, 12noon, 3pm, 6pm and 9pm. o Post about your upcoming challenge group, OR challenge participant results 3x/week and inbox message at least 3 people/day who either liked, commented, or had ever expressed interest in fitness/nutrition goals. Find out THEIR needs/wants/goals and what’s going on in their life NOW. Find the appropriate time in convo to invite to your challenge. o 3x/month -Post your before & after pics OR progress pics. Yes, it’s scary but inspiring & effective. o In your first or second month, work up to asking 3 new people/week, “have you ever considered doing what I’m doing to help with ___?” You HAVE TO ASK & you should only ask people you have a solid relationship with… not strangers you just met last week. Saying “let me know if you’re interested”… is not effective. Don’t expect initial interest; that comes with follow-ups, building trust, & a better understanding of what it is you do! o By your 2nd month, work up to messaging 3 people/week with a follow up msg, like “btw, are you still considering becoming a coach? I know you said you ___, and I understand__” {validate their hesitations; relate to them first, then give reassurance you’ll help). Where and when do you write your to-do list? LEADER TIPS Do you use an app to track your to-do list? Example apps: Todoist®, Astrid®, Any.do, Checkmark, Wunderlist, aNote, AwesomeNote Day 20 Being Proof the Products Work. Hey Guys! Happy Tuesday! Can you believe it! You’re doing AWESOME and building a strong foundation. Please report here your 6 items below. Next to be Learned: Being Proof the Products Work. You don’t have to be at your ideal weight fitness level to show you’re making PROGRESS. You just have to be actively participating and practicing what you preach, consistently! If you’re going to ask someone to do something, you better be doing it yourself. Being an example not only improves your credibility, it gets people excited because most likely they’ll be looking at you and witnessing you transform. Be prepared to explain your journey so it is easy to talk to people when you are asked. Here is a simple way to create your own story, just complete the sentences: 1. “I joined the Team at Beachbody because . . .” 2. “I am happy I did because . . . ” 3. “Because of my Beachbody business I hope to . . . ” Create a flipagram video or Youtube video with your story. Be sure viewers can CLEARLY see this is an opportunity for THEM to live healthier and get paid while they get fit. And be sure they can CLEARLY see how they can contact you to learn more. LEADER TIPS • Post a brief video on the Facebook wall to share your own story. This will encourage others to give it a try. Day 21 Time Management Hey team, How did it go? Please report here on your 6 items. Next to be Learned: Time Management. Finding time for your business? It’s not easy, I know! Unless you schedule the time to work your business, it is really just a hobby. ** Think of your Social Medial platforms as your Store Front with a sign hanging in the window - Welcome Yes, We are Open, Or Sorry, We are Closed. You can't expect people to buy anything or engage with you if your store is always closed or if you do not have set hours. It will confuse your following and customers. ** And if you treat this like a hobby rather than a business (pretend you really DID have to invest hundreds of thousands of dollars), then you can’t expect to build a thriving business. Try to keep that in mind and actually schedule the time on your calendar to work your business. This stuff is too easy to NOT do and just say “oh well, I hadn’t gotten anywhere with it yet”.. when in fact, you HAD… the foundation was there, you just need more time working this consistently. Sooo many coaches give up when they were so close to seeing the fruits of their labor; they just didn’t have the patience OR didn’t believe it would pay off. There’s usually a 30 to 90-day delay in this business from when you start doing the right things. So schedule focused time - no laundry, loading the dishwasher, scrolling the facebook newsfeed or getting distracted by your surroundings. Schedule a “power hour” (or two) and put it on your calendar and let us know where that power or two hour falls for each day this week (as accountability that it’s actually scheduled). What is your work schedule? If you don't have one I want to you take 15 minutes and write out your day and week. What time do you have to be at your full time job if you have one. What time do you need to drop the kids off at the bus stop /school. What dr apt do you have, how long does it take to get to and from work... Write out breakfast / dinner time for the family. Then look at what you have left. And schedule in 30 / 1hr / 2 hr 3 hrs. even if it's broken up w/in the day and schedule your coaching biz and write down exactly what tasks you will be doing in those times so you are not guessing at what needs to be done. Use Hootsuite.com if needed to help with prescheduling your social media posts!! This way you CAN work your coaching biz while you are at your full time job!! When you get to lunch you can quickly respond to any quick / easy PM's and comments you receive. When you get home respond to emails and any longer PMs / comments that need attention. LEADER TIPS • Encourage them to share where they schedule time -online calendar, on their smartphone,etc • Share how you find time to work your business. The more you embrace the fact that you are your brand, and everything you represent and do is a reflection on your brand, the more apt you are to be your best YOU and the more apt you are to inspire others to do the same. (think Jillian Michaels and other fitness celebrities) You have to be YOU times TWO and therefore be the person you aspire to be! I hope through personal development, you’re learning you CAN do anything you set your mind to, especially this business. Please make a list of 10 things you’re into/interested in that others look to you for advice/knowledge/inspiration and/or help? It could be décor, fashion, tech stuff, parenting, cooking, art, writing, nutrition, strength training, fitness, public speaking, photography, etc. These are the unique combination of things that make up what YOUR brand and image will look like. LEADER TIPS Know what attracts people to you so you can share your list with the Day 23 Referrals Happy Friday my friends!! Going to be a fantastic weekend! Ok friends.. Can you believe it!? And we only have about a week and a half left!! Please report on your 6 items below. Btw, your character/knowledge base lists were great! Start referring to that list when posting so guide the content of your posts.. these are things people like about you and come to you for info/advice/inspiration. Evaluate your Facebook posts & pictures and ask yourself.. "if i had my own magazine, is this something i'd make a topic? Or is this a pic I'd allow to be published worldwide" ..if you were trying to impress someone, would the pic impress? When it comes to Instagram, unlike Facebook, just post about ONE or TWO of those (like fitness/nutrition) 90% of the time. The only 10% can be random. *** I have posted in our Files above a great Content Guideline to help keep you on track each day. When you sit down to create your posts for the day refer to this list and check off as you create! ** >> In the beginning you may want to only post up to 5 x a day vs every hr like I do. Once you've built up a following of 1000 then up your posts to just about 1x an hr. This is because everyone one of your followers shows up on FB / Social Media at different times and you want to get in front of them!!! Don't be forgotten! Be social and be present! NEXT UP TO BE LEARNED: Referrals. Don’t be afraid to ask everyone you know for referrals. Even if a friend isn’t interested in joining one of your Challenge Groups they might know someone who is. Expanding your network through referrals is a great way to add contacts to your list. Think about your friends and family and jot down the names of 5 people you know that have lots of friends. Take the time to reach out to all 5 people and send an email or message like this "Hey __ how are you? As you probably know, I've started online fitness support thru Beachbody. I'm doing a fitness challenge/accountability group starting on X date via a private facebook group.. it's 30days of support with fitness and nutrition, and it's free with any purchase of a meal replacement shake or fitness program like P90X, Insanity, Hip Hop Abs, etc. I'm doing one now that's almost over and one person has lost ___lbs or inches. Just thought I'd check since you know so many people...Do you know anyone who might be interested in the next one?" Chances are, you'll get some replies like "no, but i'll let you know if i do!" ..and even with that, you've planted a seed with that person.. when they need help in the future, they will likely come to you! Or you'll get "hmm.. i actually might want to do that! what does it entail?" No matter what, you're planting seeds that you have a new business and you can help them in the future LEADER TIPS • You will once again need to take the lead. Post an example of when and how you asked a friend for a referral. Chances are, your Coaches will want to know exactly what you said. Day 24 Google Hangout/Conference Call Recognition & Celebration Friends.. Week 3 is complete and you’re doing awesome! LEADER TIPS • Make sure you receive the completed BAT from everyone in the group. You may have to post reminders throughout the day to make sure you receive them all. • Encourage everyone to learn Google Hangouts. When you’re new in the business, as you are now, you should be mostly focused on getting in the HABIT of posting more consistently, and also getting in the habit of just reaching out and connecting with more people you know and re-connecting with new people. But it’s also time to start thinking about ATTRACTING people your way. There are main social media sites working well in this business right now; Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube. For today, we'll focus on Facebook. Posts should be: 1. Engaging (asks a question that anyone could answer and would want to answer); 2. Helpful (helps solve a problem you have had and you know friends/family have..does NOT have to be fitness/nutrition related), 3. Inspiring (put your own text on your own photo; turn common quotes into your own!) 4. Funny or entertaining. Some posts are now making it to the newsfeed if there is NOT a pic attached. This will take some getting used to for ME, but definitely start going without pictures and just short update posts. If there’s a picture involved, it has to be GREAT and eye-catching. If YOU are in the picture, it needs to be a flattering pic of you (doesn’t mean it can’t be sweaty; lots of sweaty pictures are also flattering, but some are NOT.. you know you best ) The difference between YOU posting and some other coach is that each of you will have differing opinions on what is engaging, helpful, funny, etc… so you will NATURALLY attract like-minded if you just think of what is engaging, helpful, funny to YOU. So the only way to be original is to let YOU - your pictures and your personality - shine through. This is the underlying work and learning that is SO critical that most want to shortcut, and shortcut their potential as a result! Let’s keep moving forward. Please report on your 6 items below. Next up to be learned: Preferred Placement. Each coach has their own right and left leg. Your first coach will default to either the right or the left. Once your first coach joins, log into your online office at www.TeamBeachbody.com and click Coach>Coach Online Office>My Business > My Preferred Placement and choose right or left (whichever is the OPPOSITE side of where your first coach landed) and click SAVE. This way the system knows the next coach should go to the other side and you’ll be set up for reaching Emerald rank as long as you and both coaches are active. Always choose right or left (not next available, weak leg, etc) to give your coach the best possible spot. Have you considered having a spouse or best friend join you to help you get to Emerald faster? You’re allowed to pay the expenses for 2 family members. They’d enjoy the discounts and the possibility of extra cash I’m sure! Day 29 Expanding Your Network.. Even More Welcome to day 29!! Please report below on your 6 items. NEXT UP TO BE LEARNED: Expanding your Network More. OK, by now you have already invited all your close family and friends to join your Challenge Groups. Now what? The most successful Coaches are always looking for more people to help and making new friends wherever their lives take them, especially on Social Media (facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, and Pinterest..are the big ones). Always keep your eyes and ears open and don’t be afraid to just talk to people! Here are some great ways to expand your list: 1. Social Media – We’re doing it right now. Time to find at least one other Social Media site to branch out into. You’ve got hundreds, possibly thousands of potential friends on Facebook, Pinterest ,Instagram — plus they have friends you could friend. LIKE/FAN pages have dropping visibility, so make use of your profile pages. I think i'm going to start posting on my profile page again even though i haven't in YEARS.. but that's how much like page visibility on the newsfeed has dropped.. from 16% of your "liker's" seeing your post IF they're on facebook at the time of the post, down to 2-3% of your facebook "liker's" IF they're on fb at the time of the post. I hope this changes, but for now, that's the reality of it. They want you to pay to boost your posts. 2. Wear & Share – Wear Beachbody gear with pride (T-shirts, hats, etc.). 3. Are you a parent? Do your kids play sports? Are your kids in school? Check groups or create groups on facebook. ****** As I said in my email yesterday, businesses & non-profits can become coaches too. 4. Are you a member of any networking groups? Have you looked at all the groups to the right side of your page. Consider joining some new groups & just connect. 5. People are everywhere; be friendly and people will want to talk to you! If you use business cards, be sure they have your facebook, Instagram and email on there. The BB logo is NOT important, your name & contact info is. ** When creating pictures for your social media, have your FB / social media URL on there vs your BB site. Bring everyone back to your FB / social media sites so you can build a deeper meaningful relationship and have fun with your new friends!** Anyone join any groups recently? LEADER TIPS • When you talk to your Coaches make sure they understand the flow of the process and remind them they first invite people to become friends, then include them in a general health discussion group, and finally invite them to join a Challenge Group when the timing is right. LEADER TIPS • Be sure to note who should receive special recognition but acknowledge everyone for even the smallest of accomplishments in the right direction. Day 31 Introducing the Business to Your Challengers Hey there friends. It’s day 29!! Please report below on your 6 items… you’re almost done with the training! Next up to be Learned: Challenge Group Follow Ups (& realizing they could be future Coaches). By now you should be getting close to the starting date of your first challenge group. On or around the deadline date to order (i.e. a week or 2 before Day 1 of your challenge), follow up with ALL who were initially interested; even if they only clicked “like” on the post. It’s normal if no one has committed to a purchase yet. Revisit their goals. Let them know you’ve reserved them a spot and ask “Are you still planning to get X program to help them achieve Y goal? I’d love to see you hit that goal and I know a structured program and meal plan will get you results!” Be prepared for only a small % to commit & be ok with that… others will join a challenge later! Also, a couple weeks into leading your first challenge group, you’ll notice some members who are more active in the group, more supportive of others, and naturally more upbeat about the process… they may even be the same ones who are seeing the most results. Watch for those who would make great coaches. Two weeks into your group, post “Hey guys! I’m going to be promoting my next challenge group soon, if you know anyone who would be interested in the next one, let me know! Or ..do you want to know how to sign up as a Coach and host your OWN to make a little side income while keeping yourself accountable? As you can see, this isn’t rocket science; it’s FUN and is just about supporting others” Then individually message good coach candidates with “hey__, you’ve been doing awesome in the group and are so supportive of others. I can’t help but think you’d make such a great coach. Have you ever considered something like this?” LEADER TIPS • Remind them to use the “Bulleted Basics” , which they should’ve received in their welcome email, if their participant says they’d like to hear more about what it is or what it entails. DAY 32: Onward and Upward! It’s day 32 my friends.. you made it! I’m SO proud of you!! Thank you for the BATs you sent in and it’s not too late if you wanted to still send yours.
