Classwork- including vocabulary lessons and most literature and writing assignments- equals 65% of the quarter grade. Participation- which includes group activities and non-graded assignments- is 10% of the quarter grade. However, for an “A” in the class, it is NOT enough to have an “A” average on tests and quizzes. You must also satisfy the other requirements for that score.
