Course Requirements - Before enrolling in the LHS Medical Science Academy, a student should carefully
plan his/her academic and extracurricular schedule for the following year to accommodate the demands
of the rigorous coursework.

The Healthcare/Biotechnology internship is required to graduate from the Medical Science Academy or Medical
Science Academy with Distinction.

Students are expected to work with their teachers and counselors to meet all other nonacademy graduation requirements dictated by the State of Georgia.
Students have choice in the rigor level for English/social studies/world languages (Spanish
and/or Latin are highly recommended)
Students are expected to adhere to the Medical Science Academy course requirements set
forth. Failure to do so will result in termination from the academy.
