Japanese National Honor Society If you are interested in joining the Japanese National Honor Society (JNHS), please follow the instructions below. Step 1. Visit the website below and read the information: http://www.aatj.org/jnhs/JNHS-CC.html Note: Students should be nominated for membership when they are in the last semester/quarter before graduating. If you are graduating in the fall quarter, you have to apply during the fall quarter even if you are attending the commencement in June. Step2. Send e-mail to japan@ucsd.edu. Deadline to apply for nomination: Monday of Week 4 a. Fill out the application information below and send it to japan@ucsd.edu. When you send the application form, put “JNHS application” in the subject, and use the file name “JNHS application_your name” when you save the application form. b. Print out the application and sign it. c. Bring the hard copy of the application and student fee ($15) to the Japanese Studies Office in H&SS Room 3024. (Make check payable to Kyoko Sato) Step 3. You will be contacted by the Japanese Studies Program office and asked to check the validity of information on your application. Check your UCSD e-mail account at least once every day so that you can reply in a timely fashion. Japanese National Honor Society Application form for UCSD students 1.
