WHAT IS FASHION?
A popular trend, esp. in styles of dress, ornament,
or behavior.
WHAT IS A TREND?
A general direction in which something is
developing or changing.
THE BEGINNING

London and Milan have always been seen as the
capital of couture since the twentieth century.
Women’s clothing especially for the wealthiest
came from Paris but from the 1914s to the 1960s
London was the industry for clothing. It was
challenging for French models to introduce
fashion in London and it did not occur until
“swinging” phenomenon of 60s.

ADVICE COLUMN
Dear Ms. Jane, I am a teenage
mother with a minimum wage working
job. My job may not pay a lot but I
believe its just enough. I recently got an
really obsessive addiction to this hot
pink Michael Kors tote bag. The price of
the purse is $450.00. Although I do not
have the money for it now, I know that I
could save up for it by putting aside $50
from all of my pay checks for the next 9
months. I want to know if you believe
this is a good idea or not? I know it may
seem that having the purse is not a
necessity but to me it is. I feel as if my
life will never be complete if I don’t
purchase this purse, I will never truly be
happy if I don’t get it.
Thank you,
Anonymous
Wow, Anon! You really must take
your fashion seriously if you feel as
if you can’t live with out that bag.
As the expert I must say that I do
not believe that this is a good idea!
You have already said yourself that
you don’t have the money for it. I do
admire your saving plan, but I don’t
think it’s just simple, as I'm sure
you have many expenses that are
more vital to your survival monthly.
I am sorry , but you’re request is
DENIED.

POEM
Fashion is a way of life , If I didn’t have it Id
probably die. Saying that fashion affects us all is
no lie, from those Gucci shoes, up to that polo tie.
We all need fashion to survive, to keep up with
the current trends we all strive. There’s no telling
what fashion will be in the future, as it’s a
nurture to most of our time. All I know is that if
you keep me in the hottest gear ill be fine.
