March 2012 – March 2013
Farmers Insurance is one of the leading Insurance providers in the U.S. With the objective of increasing ROI,
Farmer’s sought to improve their existing Business Express web application, which agents used to process
Commercial Insurance quotes. This project also involved the migration of front-end and back-end platforms
to an entirely new application, which effectively improved system functionality and stability.
Responsibilities:

Worked on defects, requested changes, production support and enhancements to the front-end and backend applications.
Lead a Production Support team by triaging, scoring, initiating and performing cost benefit prioritization
for all compliance, enhancement and defect requests.

Wells Fargo is one of the Largest Banks in the United States with various financial products and one of the
biggest players in the mortgage industry. Currently they are in the process of combining various financial
products into one web based platform called CORE (Common Opportunity Results and Experience). I
worked for the Home Mortgage department as a BSA and data analyst; my role was to create data mapping
documents tracking data flow from the Front End to the Database via different services and systems and also
gathering requirements for the same.
Responsibilities:

Conducted detailed and comprehensive business analysis by working with the client IT staff and endusers in order to identify system and operational requirements and improvements.

Analyzed and documented Business requirements and Business Process Models to create the
BRD for better understanding of the business process.
Conducted JAD sessions to allow stakeholders to communicate their perspectives with one another,
resolving any issues and reaching an agreement quickly.

The project named FDR, “The Program Franklin” is the countrywide initiative to migrate/convert credit card
processing lines of business to the First Data Resources (FDR) platform. The project was to convert Account
Sales and Servicing modules (Retail Sales Finance, US/Canada) from UNISYS legacy system. The whole
UNISYS legacy system has been updated/modified in order to meet the business requirements of one
countrywide.
Responsibilities:

Facilitated collection of functional requirements from system users and preparation of business requirement
documents using Rational Requisite Pro that provided appropriate scope of work for technical team to
develop prototype and overall system.

Followed the WUP/RUP based methods by using Visio to create UML Diagrams like Use
Cases, Activity Diagrams, and Class Diagrams to author FRD (Functional Requirement
