Data management: Ensure the accurate recording and reporting of data and maintenance of the Fundraising database – Raisers Edge with regard to your area of expertise. Key Duties Fundraising Develop and implement a robust fundraising strategy with the Fundraising Manager to initiate, co-ordinate and direct Trust, Foundation, Livery Company and Regiment fundraising activities in support of the Hospital’s charitable objectives and in line with agreed targets. Maintain the level of donations from Trusts and seek to expand support in this area. Ensure the maintenance of regular contact with existing Trusts, Foundations, Livery Companies and Regiments, providing them with up-to-date information about the Hospital and to foster their long-term support in the form of donations. Further develop contact with corporate and Servicebased organisations to increase support from these areas. Raise funds for special projects i.e. the purchase of medical equipment and the Hospital’s Sister Agnes Benevolent Fund which supports treatment of military personnel through a means tested grants. To assist as appropriate to produce reports for the Board of Governors and Council. Maintain close links with the Charities Aid Foundation and other charities to keep abreast of developments and changes in the charitable sector. To assist the Fundraising Manager in the production of the hospital’s Annual Report, to be used as support of potential donor applications. To keep the Fundraising Manager informed of developments within areas of responsibility.
