Partnership with Benjamin Media for Annual WATERiD and UIM conference at Virginia Tech Research Center, Arlington, VA Benjamin Media will also act as a media and publishing partner for WATERiD WATER infrastructure DATABASE Extension (WATERiDEx) To permit wastewater and drinking water utilities to easily share their experiences and lessons learned regarding above-ground water infrastructure assets, we are proposing the expansion of existing WATERiD knowledge database. The expanded national database will be called Water infrastructure Database Extension (WATERiDEx). WATERiDEx is envisioned to be “a Living Knowledge Database for above-ground assets” addressing condition assessment, renewal engineering, performance, and cost related to wastewater and drinking water treatment facilities. WATER infrastructure DATABASE PLUS (WATERiD+) To truly implement advanced asset management, a dramatic evolution of the water industry as a whole is required. A centralized database to house the homogenous, time dependent data from different sources is crucial in enabling local, state, and federal governments to employ the advanced infrastructure asset management strategies. WATERiD+ is envisioned to be “a Living Database Platform for Advanced Water Infrastructure Asset Management” addressing all three major management levels including strategic, tactical, and operational that will assist utilities of all sizes to sustain targeted level of service Partnership Program: • Media Partner – Benjamin Media, etc. • Associations – NASSCO, ASCE, etc. • Funding Agencies – WERF, EPA, etc. • HUB PAGES • CASE STUDIES • Membership Industry • Consultants – 7 more • Technology – 11 more • Pipe Association – 3 more • Membership Utility – 12 more 27 Conference Agenda Wednesday, November 13, 2013 (Holiday Inn at Arlington) – Award Dinner Thursday, November 14, 2013 – Virginia Tech Research Center (Ballston Room) – Presentations Friday, November 15, 2013 – Virginia Tech Research Center (Ballston Room) – SWIM IAB Meeting SUSTAINABLE WATER INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT (SWIM) CENTER AT VIRGINIA TECH 2013 SWIM Recognition Award Presented to COMPANY X In appreciation for your founding gold level membership Sunil K.
