What is the number of species?
• The total number of species for the plant kingdom is 320,000 species.
• 270,000 species are named in the kingdom of plants
• Plants need chlorophyll, light, carbon dioxide, water, and nutrients and minerals.
• Plants make their own food in their system.
• Plants move from place to place as seeds.
• Plants bend toward the light by growth.
• But scientifically plants do not actually move.
• Plants are multi cellular. They have about 5 million cells.
• Plants have a nuclei (nucleus).
• Chloroplast
