Pre-Calculus December 2011 Chapter 4 TRIGONOMETRIC FUNCTIONS in our pre-calculus curriculum involved mostly pre-requisite skills covered in Advanced Algebra with Trigonometry (junior math curriculum). Therefore, lesson 4.1 – 4.5 in pre-calculus will be reviewed though student presentations as indicated on the calendar below. Each group of students is expected to re-teach the important skills, explain the concept through examples of adequate difficulty, and be prepared to answer students’ questions. Each presenter will be evaluated by the teacher and by his/her peers. Two grades will be recorded as a ‘Gift’ in grade-book; 1 grade from the classroom teacher and 1 grade from the classmates. Each 2 – 3 presentations will be followed by a Quiz to assess students’ understanding.
