justifying the medical denials after consulting with the
treating Doctor.
 Resubmitting the claims within the allotted time.
 Coordinating with the finance team to verify the
payment details.
 Follow-up with the claims team for the resubmitted
amount
 Follow up with insurance regarding payment.
 Any corrective issue regarding our system inform to
our HOD.
Medical Insurance Coordinator in Belhoul Speciality Hospital,
Dubaï, From August. 2010 – 2013

Being a trained coder I do the Encoding of online approvals for
both in-patient and out-patient requests.

Preparing data’s for approval cases and entering records for
inpatient both planned case and emergency cases with their date
of approvals and number of days approved.

Taking verbal approvals for emergency admission and planned
cases, providing cost estimate and other necessary documents.

Taking verbal approvals for outpatient procedure namely
maternity, dental and urgent procedures/special cases.

Auditing claims on a regular basis to ensure that the rejections
are below 5 %

Coordinating with insurance company for the reconciliation of
the rejected bills.

Solving the quarries of in house Doctors and patient regarding
insurance coverage related doubts.

Provide training to new recruits in front office staff and
clarifying there doubts related to insurance coverage.

To arrange the meeting for front office staff and cashiers to
solve their quarries of new insurance policies or any new
addition on insurance company on panel.

Doing the submission through e claim.
