17A (RP) – Design and Operation of Subsea Production Systems
– Under revision
– SRRR submitted for Annex A and Annex I to be a separate documents (proposed TR13
and TYR14)
– Material section to be reviewed and revised
17D (Spec) –Subsea Wellhead and Christmas Tree Equipment
– Addendum for Annex O being balloted
– Ballot closed for removal of PSL 3G for wellheads
17E (Spec) –Subsea Umbilicals
– Draft will be sent for comment and ballot
17F (Std) –Subsea Production Control Systems
– 3rd edition published in May 2014
– SRRR submitted to start the next edition to address issues from previous edition
17G (RP) –Completion Workover Risers
– 6th draft will be completed by end of February
– The next revision is recommended to be balloted as Standard rather than Specification
– Document size reduced by 20%

17H (RP) – ROTs and Interfaces n Subsea Production Systems
– Incorporate 17M (17M is withdrawn)
– SRRR submitted and accepted for next revision
– Will issue errata now for figure 20 (Hot stab dimensions)
Deep Star Task report:
– API agreed to accept report as Donated work from Deep Star
– Deep Star grants API permission to issue report under SC17, but retain ownership of
report
– Document will be under API 17H umbrella
17K (Spec) –Bonded Flexible Pipe
– Up for review, the industry input due by Q1 2015, work will extend into Q1 2016
– Established input requirements and task group (29 SMEs)
17N (RP) - Subsea Reliability
– Incorporate existing 17Q content to introduce TQ process
– RP due for next revision
17P (RP) –Subsea Structures and Manifolds
– SRRR submitted to update and rationalize the materials section
– Next meeting to be scheduled
17R (RP) –Flowline Connectors and Jumpers
– Resolved comments from ballot; will send out for recirculation and publication

– Ballot comments reviewed and incorporated
– In final circulation; to be published in February

– SRRR submitted in June 2014

TR8 – HPHT Design Guidelines
– Passed ballot; 1st edition to be published in February
– Motion passed for SRRR to get CSOEM to put aside $345,000 to perform independent
analysis and material testing
– Motion passed to start the 2nd edition
– ASME Section VIII Div 3 task group is helping with the material section
– We encourage SC 18 to participate
TR9 –Subsea Umbilical Termination Selection and Sizing Recommendations
– Document to be completed in April 2015
TR10-Subsea Umbilical Termination Design Recommendations
– recommended to be re-balloted due to addition of two complete sections
TR12– In final review; 2 negative votes being addressed
