Contact Us: Email: enc89@sbcglobal.net Phone: 510-485-8522 First Meeting My goal is to make it as easy as possible for potential clients to get in touch with me. The initial contact with the client would be by phone during business hours, or email after hours with a 24 hour guaranteed response time. General details will be given at this first contact such as the clients name, type of event and event date. Next, we will schedule the first consultation to further information gathering. My meetings will be held at a mutual place comfortable easy to get to such as a local café, or an elegant and quieter place like Olive garden. I will include light refreshments paid for by me at this meeting such as coffee, pastry or an appetizer. Clients will be encouraged to bring along anyone that will be active in the planning process. As an alternative, I would set up a phone consultation and mail any documents to the client if not able to work electronically. For the more tech savvy we would be able to set up a time to have Skype or use a service such as Webex to have a conference that all could be involved in. A questionnaire will be provided at the meeting for the client to fill out as we converse, and leave with me. A copy will be provided for them to keep as well to be able to go over our meeting at any time. I would also encourage the client to bring with them a notebook, as well as any questions that they may have for me. When the meeting is close to conclusion the client will be provided with a folder containing: Events by Elisha business card Package information with standard services as well as additional services Marriage license information for city requested in the Bay area of California (if applicable) Preferred vendor list Venue list Engagement/shower themes Bridal Party Checklist Wedding Celebration Packages & Pricing Silver Pre-Celebrations Package - fees to be determined at consultation Package includes: initial consultation to gather information on pre-wedding celebration(s) Assistance with theme, colors, and style of event Up to 2 planning meetings between clients and planner Pairing you with and securing vendors that fit your budget Securing your ideal venue One visit to event venue to go over set up Gold Pre-Celebrations Package - starting at $650 Package includes all that of the Silver Package Plus: Unlimited phone and email availability Event planning reminders and checklists At least 3 planning meetings Budget planning assistance Assistance with tracking RSVP's Assistance with choosing invitations Assistance with choosing décor Orchestrate vendor set up day of event Bronze Wedding Package - for the DIY Bride - $275 Package includes everything to get you started planning your special day: initial meeting up to 3 hours Budget assistance Assistance with finding wedding style Event planning tools such as preferred vendor lists, and bridal party responsibilities Custom planning tool to help you know where to continue after meeting Silver Wedding Package, Partial planning - $750 Package includes: Initial consultation to gather information Continuous communication between client and planner Vendor selection and booking assistance Assistance in finalizing vendor contracts Wedding design inspiration Vendor contact to confirm day-of details Wedding day timeline and event planning checklists Event schedule for your wedding party and family Orchestrate wedding rehearsal Orchestrate vendor set up at reception Liaison between vendors and client Access to wedding day emergency kit Gold Wedding Package - starts at $1,000 Package includes all that of the Silver Package Plus: Up to 3 site visits with planner and client(s) Month by month task list and reminders Vendor contact throughout the process, including onsite meetings Management of wedding reception Orchestrate vendor set up at ceremony and reception Assistance with post wedding events such as travel arrangements, and gift opening party Platinum Wedding Package – starts at $1,500 Package includes all that of the Gold Package Plus: Unlimited site visits with planner and client(s) Monthly reminders and check-ins Management of ceremony and reception Assistance with pre and post wedding events Additional Services May be added to any wedding planning package The following add-ons begin at $40 an hour: Hourly planning & design services Additional vendor coordination Venue comparison, budget, and Venue scouting trip (up to 5) Welcome basket assembly and distribution Wedding favor coordination Hotel room block coordination & management (up to 3) Response card and master guest list management Hourly rate: errand running/bride’s personal assistant for the day Please note: Additional hours or overtime may be added to packages starting at $45 an hour. If you do not see a question you may have, just ask! We are more than happy to provide you with the information. How long have you been in the industry? Events by Elisha is newer to the wedding industry. We started out in the pastry industry, making and decorating cakes for weddings and special events. We assisted with wedding planning in the food & beverage department. We have a love and passion for weddings, which brought us to the front lines of wanting to plan more beyond the special desserts. Here we are now two years into assisting with weddings and special events. We feel that through our years of executing elegant wedding cakes, we understand what it takes to design something that is cohesive and flawless. We want to create a flawless and memorable wedding for you. How many events have you done? At Events by Elisha we have done a plethora of events. We have done 3 wedding events in the last 2 years, 2 weddings and a vow renewal. All 3 events were planned, and designed by Events by Elisha. Are you certified? Yes! All of our consultants have been certified by the renowned Lovegevity’s Wedding Planning Institutes, an extensive program that assures we know all the ins and outs of event planning. Can you give me an example of when you had to be a quick-thinker and avert a disaster during a wedding or event that you planned? It pleases me to be able to say that only one of the events that we planned had a disaster happen, and I as well as the Bride, felt we handled it excellently. In this instance the photographer was late, the ceremony was not set to begin until she got there. In my quick thinking, I was fortunate enough to have the media person that happened to be on site at the venue begin to film the ceremony. As the ceremony was being filmed, the photographer finally arrived. I insisted that she provide the bride with additional pictures as well as stay the amount of time she was late so that the bride felt she got what she paid for. The bride thanked me later and let me know that the photographer contacted her after the wedding and added additional items to her package free of charge as an apology. I am proud of this example as it shows we are going to do whatever it takes to have a happy bride, as well as we work with excellent vendors that share our goals.
