AES or ES Pipe Required - Table A
Using Table A determine the linear footage of AES pipe
required for the daily design flow and the site’s
percolation rate (mpi).
2.
Determine Row Spacing - Table B
Determine the minimum Row Spacing based on the
System Slope and the Site's perc rate and is never less than
1.5 ft. All sloping beds must be designed as mounds.
3.
Min. System Sand Bed Area - Table C
Using Table C, find the System Sand Bed Area using the
Daily Flow and the Site's Perc rate.
Table C already incorporates the state approved reduction
in dispersal area. No further reductions allowed.

Select Row Length, Find # of Row & Layout Width - Table D
a) Select a row length that the site will accommodate in the far left column.
b) Move to the right of that row length until the minimum amount of pipe is found.

c) Now move down that column to find the number of rows required.

d) Continue down that column to find the "Pipe Layout Width" for your row spacing.
Pipe Layout Width:
Table D shows row lengths in five foot increments, however the pipe may be cut
to any length.
