Residential Program
Our residential program provides the
most complete college experience for
students because of the many
extracurricular programs that are
available only to students in the campus
environment. Complementing our
classroom instruction, resident students
participate in competitive athletic
programs, vocal and instrumental
performance groups, student leadership
organizations, dormitory life, daily
chapel, Dubuque community service,
and numerous local churches, ministries
and community organizations.

We are also adding new flexible

learners. Emmaus SummerStudy is
a new summer program offering two
3-week terms of study. Emmaus

For those interested in personal and
spiritual enrichment, EmmausOnline
provides learners around the world with
free video lectures taught by faculty
members of Emmaus Bible College.
These lectures are filmed on location in
our classrooms and are available as
free video downloads. These are not
lecture samples, but real college level
courses—the same classes our resident
students attend. However,
EmmausOnline video lectures do not
provide students with academic credit.

Extension Courses
Emmaus offers Bible and Bible-related
evening courses in local churches within
approximately 90 miles of the college.
Extension courses provide opportunities
for God’s people to become better
grounded in the Word and for young
people to get a taste for college-level
Bible study. The entire Emmaus
curriculum is available for selection by
the local sponsoring committee.
Academic college credit is not available
for extension courses.

Iron Sharpens Iron
Many of the issues facing the Church
today are common to our local
assemblies as well. As a movement,
although we value the autonomy of the
local church, we also recognize the
interdependence of our assemblies, and
desire to work together as we identify
solutions to the issues we face. Iron
Sharpens Iron is an annual conference
for sharpening one another's vision and
skills for building the local church.

Women in the Word
In the Parable of the Sower, Christ
explains that those who receive the
seed in good soil “are the ones who,
hearing the word, hold it fast in an
honest and good heart, and bear fruit
with patience” (Luke 8:15). Our
objectives are to challenge and
encourage women with in-depth study
of the Bible and practical application to
life, to enhance fellowship among old
friends and new around the person of
Christ and love for God's Word, and to
encourage a spirit of praise,
thanksgiving, and joy through inspiring
music and testimony.
