These life skills will help prepare you for living on your own, setting goals, making decisions, managing credit, and creating a budget among other things. Financial Literacy (every other day) Periods 1, 7, and 9 - Room 102 Financial responsibility Money and goals Researching and buying a car Financing your education Career research Credit Protecting liability Money and roommates Budgets Saving Banking partners Take home pay Debt Financial Literacy How are we graded? Assessments (70%) Tests, projects, labs Learning logs Quizzes and classwork (30%) Quizzes, classwork, participation The Grade Folder Drag and drop method Does not take away class time Late Financial Literacy Late Work work will be accepted as follows: The earned percentage grade will be reduced by 10% a day up to 3 days. If student is absent, follow district guidelines. After 3 class periods, late work will no longer be accepted.
