Educational Qualifications

A Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information
Science / Documentation Science or an equivalent
professional degree with at least 55% marks (or an
equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading
system is followed) and a consistently good
academic
record
with
knowledge
of
computerization of library.

Qualifying in the national level test conducted for the
purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved
by the UGC.

However, candidates, who are, or have been
awarded Ph. D. degree in accordance with the
“University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards
and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree),
Regulations 2009, shall be exempted from the
requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of
NET/SLET/SET for recruitment.
 Graduate or above in any discipline.
 Atleast 5 years of Service in Administration and in
Accounts in any Central Government /Autonomous body
organization in the Grade pay of Rs. 4200.00 and above.
 Having sound knowledge of administrative and financial
matters of Government of India.
 Retired Govt. Employees within 65 years of age can apply.
 Desirable: Knowledge of using computer and financial
auditing.
Master’s degree in any subject preferably in Yogic Science
with minimum 55% Marks or equivalent.
i)
Experience in Data collection and analysis,
report/academic writing.
ii)
Experience of working in computer software for
statistical analysis/SPSS
iii)
Fluency in English and Hindi
iv)
NET qualified from UGC, however, Non NET
candidate may also apply.
Age : Below 30 years (5 Years relaxation in case of SC/ST
and female candidates and 3 years of OBC candidates)
 12th Pass under 10+2 pattern or equivalent examination
from a recognized Central/State Government Board
Institution.
 Diploma in Computer Applications.
 English typing, with speed of 30 WPM in English
 Experience of 3 years in using MS Office, Coral and Tally.


Desirable: Certificate/Knowledge of English Shorthand.
Age 18-27 years (Relaxation is permissible upto 5 years for
SC/ST, 3 years for OBC).

The appointment is purely on contractual basis and it will not confer any right for claim on regular
appointment
Those who have worked with NCERT for more than three years on contractual basis, need not
apply.
The job may involve touring and stay in any part of the country for an extended duration. All
expenses for field work/research will be borne by NCERT as per its norms.
Candidates already in a job should forward their applications through their employer and/or come
with a No Objection Certificate without which the candidate will not be allowed for appearing in
Interview.
Candidate should bring and produce their original certificates at the time of interview/test.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview/test.
The selected candidates may be required to join immediately.

Selection Board may recommend higher remuneration based on experience.
The number of post may vary at the discretion of the Institute Authority.

The job is against QIS yoga project of NCERT. The appointment depends on the conditions of the
project.
The selected candidate will be offered engagement for initially for three months, after that the
extension will be given on his performance and output upto 31.03.2016.
