Adolf Hitler and Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s Rise to Power
Objective: The following is going to be a working document, meaning you will start with some basic research and add
to it while we progress through the unit. The objective is for you to get some basic background information for FDR’s
“New Deal” while at the same time comparing how the Nazi’s in Germany were gaining power. In addition we will be
trying to discover how all of this research led to the most destructive war in human history.
Task: ON A SEPARATE PIECE OF PAPER(S) you will research the following people, groups, places, government
acts and events and write a brief summary or definition of each. Leave room between each just in case you would like
to add some information later on. DO NOT WRITE ON THE ASSIGNMENT SHEET, NOT EVEN TO
CROSS OUT THE WORDS!
