It is recommended that an Apartment-roommate agreement be completed anytime two or more students engage in a new living situation or in the event that a
conflict arises between Apartment-mates. This document is designed to provide students the opportunity to establish some guidelines related to the detail of their

I agree to take my key with me whenever I leave.
I will not rely on my Apartment-mates if I lose my key and will take responsibility for the loss.
Most Apartment-mate conflicts can be prevented by communicating with each other and reaching mutually
agreed upon living arrangements. Discuss issues at the Apartment-mate level first, and then utilize your
apartment manager or the Coordinator for Apartment Living as a resource for mediation. By signing this
document you understand and agree to all the guidelines established in this agreement.
