Band of Pride Ranks Distinguished
We welcome our representatives from the Campbell County Band of Bride tonight. Three CCHS BANDS attended
the state concert band assessment at Collins High School this past week and received DISTINGUISHED rankings
for the first time in the 75 year tradition of the CCHS band program. This is a state required event in which each
band performs prepared music for three judges and then performs a piece they have never seen before for a fourth
judge. This is an incredibly rare and special accomplishment that was only possible because of the hard work and
dedication of every single member of the band program. This makes CCHS one of only three high schools in the
state of Kentucky with three Distinguished concert ensembles. Congratulations Band of Pride. We are very proud
of you!

Annual Technology Plan Review and Approval
The Universal Service program for schools and libraries, more commonly known as E-rate, is a federal initiative
that provides discounts on telecommunications, Internet, and eligible internal connection technologies to
elementary and secondary schools and public libraries across this country. In order to be eligible to apply for ERate discounted services, each district must have a Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) approved technology
plan. The plan must address the five core criteria as defined by the FCC. To ensure district compliance the District
Technology Plan Template was created for each district to use to submit the District Plan. The Campbell County
District technology plan has been previewed by the KDE Engineer and meets the FCC criteria.
