PRAY FOR OUR LIVES Praise God for his awesome power and mighty works in your life and in the world. Pray we, as a church will grow in our exuberant worship of God. Thank God for listening to and answering our prayers. Ask God to bless us and grant us great grace in order to make Him known to others throughout the world. Pray for the day when all peoples of our world will be reached with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Pray for God to lead us in the specific role He has for us to play in accomplishing that mission. PRAY FOR OUR CITY PRAY FOR OUR WORLD EVENTS This week we are praying for the members of North Ridge Church to make disciples by loving God, loving people, and living on mission. Here are 6 simple ways to pray and to put your prayers into action. This week we are praying together for the country of Tunisia. Day 1: Pray for the physical and emotional needs of single parents in our city. Action: Buy groceries for a single mother. Day 2: Just last week there was a terrorist attack in Tunisia. 23 are believed to be dead after an attack on a museum. Pray for this horrible tragedy to open the door to people finding true peace in Jesus Christ. STARTING POINT - Ready to get connected to North Ridge? Starting Point will allow you to meet staff, get connected to ministry teams, and find out about community groups. The next Starting Point is April 12th during the 10:45 am service. RSVP at Guest Services! Day 2: Pray for the sick. Action: Visit the hospital to encourage someone who is sick. Day 3: The economy of Tunisia will no doubt be affected by the recent terrorist attack there. Pray for economic stability and for international support to aid Tunisia if necessary. Day 3: Pray for the elderly who live alone. Action: Spend time with an elderly person. Day 4: Pray for the homeless and poor. Action: Volunteer in a shelter or food pantry. Day 5: Pray for those in prison. Action: Write a letter to a prisoner. Day 6: Pray for at risk children. Action: Mentor a child at the Dream Center or your local school. READING 11-12; SCHEDULE Psalm 82 Day 1: Tunisia is squeezed between Algeria and Libya in Northern Africa. Islam dominates the region and Tunisia is in desperate need of the gospel. Day 4: Churches are prohibited in Tunisia. Pray for governmental change that will make church planting prosper. Day 5: The small Christian population of Tunisia is mostly nominal. Most live out their faith behind closed doors. Pray for boldness and revival for these Christians to reach their Tunisian neighbors with the gospel. Day 6: Kairouan, in Tunisia, is seen by some as the fourth-most holy city in Islam - many go there for blessings, healing and help. Pray that in their heartfelt search they might find Jesus. Tozer - It is not a cheerful thought that millions of us who live in a land of Bibles, who belong to churches and labor to promote the Christian religion, may yet pass our whole lives on this earth without once having thought or tried to think seriously about the being of God. Few of us have let our hearts gaze in wonder at the I AM. And for this we are now paying a too heavy price in the secularization of our religion and the decay of our inner lives. God’s Revelation 1. I am Exodus 3:6 2. I am Exodus 3:7-8 3. I am Exodus 3:12 David Platt- What if God chooses to call us to things in our lives, not because of our qualifications and our abilities, but in order to lead us to a place where we are radically dependent on his presence? 4. I am 5. I am 6. I am A.W. Tozer “We’re all human beings suddenly to become blind, still the sun would shine by day and the stars by night, for these owe nothing to the millions who benefit from their light. So, were every man on earth to become atheist, it could not affect God in any way. He is what he is in himself without regard to any other. To believe in him adds nothing to his perfections; to doubt him takes nothing away.” 7. I am 8. I am Exodus 6:6-8 Our Response 1. Put your faith and 2. Find your 3. Give him your in Him in Him. .
