Fall 2011 Application
The Order of Omega serves as an elite, National Greek Honor Society of the University of La Verne and
recognizes those men and women who have attained a high standard of Leadership and outstanding Service
in inter-Greek activities. Order of Omega strives to bring together the most representative fraternity and
sorority members, while uniting faculty, alumni and students of the University of La Verne’s fraternities and
sororities. The members of Order of Omega have exemplified themselves as model students and dedicated
leaders of the Greek Community not only through Leadership and Service, but also through
Character, Scholarship and Intelligence.
An Order of Omega Applications Committee consisting of current members of the Upsilon Kappa chapter will coordinate
the selection of candidates for membership this semester. Applications for consideration are due to the Office of
Student Life by 12pm on Friday, October 7, 2011. If you have further questions about The Order of Omega organization

Please explain your desire to be in Order of Omega and how you feel you can contribute to the
organization. Also, please comment on how you plan to remain a dedicated member of Order
of Omega.

Please reflect on this statement, “No matter the letter, we are all Greek together.” Please
demonstrate your admiration for another fraternity or sorority on campus by identifying the
specific chapter you admire, as well as a detailed description of why you respect that chapter.

Please explain a time you exemplified Greek unity as a leader. Also, please indicate if any
barriers were overcome and how it affected you.
