Advertisement Make Life Better
It was not a long time that mass advertising became a general way to approach
consumers. As an appearance of radio broadcasting in 1920s, 1950s television
popularization, and nowadays electronics allow people live in the environment that
are exposed to mass advertising. The result of this is individuals are starting to
recognize themselves as consumers. Living in the fast developing society, it is
inevitable to escape advertisement that all around our daily life. Now we spend
variety of products everyday, and advertisement has a big role for us to spend specific
product. Many people are blaming that advertisement cause unnecessary consumption,
and advertisement even deliver false information most of time. But dose
advertisements bring negative effect to individual and society after all? Advertisement
may have few drawbacks like every coin has two sides. However, advertisement has
much more positive effects in our life and society. One is that advertisements let
consumers to reach information better. Another is that advertisement enhance the
goodwill in the society.
First of all, consumers can get information for the products much easier because
of the Internet advertisement. In people’s daily life, everyone use the Internet
everyday and the advertising is everywhere through the Internet. The Internet already
become the part of human’s life. Thus, the advertising through the Internet to
broadcast is well-reasoned. According to the book named The American Way write by
Maryanne Kearny Datesman demonstrate that: “Increasingly, American are using
their computer, smartphone, tablet, or other digital device－instead of television－to
get their news and entertainment”. (107) More and more people use the Internet to
grab the information, such as when travelers visit the strange city. They need the map
for the traffic, traditional food to eat and famous scenic to visit, where can they find
the help? Definitely, the Internet. Among above things, the advertisement from the
Internet is really useful to people. So most of advertisement will watched by people
who use the Internet. The more close people’s life the example will be the shopping
through the Internet. The advertisement make products well knowed by consumers.
Fully introduction will present to people by images or voice during screen.
Decreasing a mountain of time to people in selecting the products and even the time
cost in the way to shopping if people buy products online. The advertisement in the
Internet is useful for consumers to absorb the information of products.
Another main advantage of advertisement is that advertisements enhance the
goodwill in the society. Advertisement has a great affect in everyone’s life. Because of
the abundance of technology, advertisement is melt in our life naturally. Thus, with

successful that over time they began to be used to change Americans’ attitudes,
behavior, and beliefs.”(103) Many of the advertisements can make the positive effect
for people. For instance, some of government use ads to urge teenager not abuse drags.
And because of the fact that the high speed of propagating, the information will
convey to everyone. Ads also make people more willing to give a helping hand to
others. Such as the charities organization always hold the donations events towards to
society in order to helping the children living in poor areas, disable people or the
region that suffer from the natural disaster. The charities make people know those
types of unfortunate event or people immediately and extensively through Ads.
Making people’s mercy more showing in the action from deep inside of heart.
Moreover, making the connection between people and people much closer. Thus, the
advertisement truly enhanced the goodwill among the society.
Advertisements let consumers to reach information better and enhance the
goodwill in the society. First one that is reach information making people’s life
become easier and convenience. People getting improved form realistic life, so does
the living quality. Behind one making people spiritually increased. Stimulating the
people’s truly kind-hearted and all positive characters from natural property. Thus, the
advertisements bring the society a great many of advantages and as the citizen who
want to living the harmonious society should totally support the ads.
