A History of Improvement
 1963-1964: Airport conceived by a group of community
leaders. Land was purchased and construction
completed
 Original runway 60’ x 3500’
 1978: runway, taxiway, and apron were resurfaced
 2000: an office with restroom added
 2006: runway was extended to 75’ x 4001’

Piedmont-Triad International Airport- Greensboro.
 Beginning with 800 employees, 400 additional will be
