M/s. chakkiath engineering works, India is leading contracting company in Cochin Shipyard LTD
doing pipe line works in production and maintenance division over 20 years.
Responsibilities:
 Supervision of fabrication & erection of equipments and piping.
 Monitoring the daily work activities of sub-contractors and updating sub-contractor progress reports.
 Assist Design department in solving piping clashes, modification and technical problems in the field.
 Carrying out final P&ID check of installed piping system in the module.
 Selection of pipe supports, special supports and spring hangers.
Attend product improvement meetings & fault analysis.
Provide required input for components procuring process.
Materials Management, Purchase order work.
Stock Verification.
Analysis of Vendor Performance & Price Variance.
Checking the daily work progress of the jobs on ship. Ordering of the necessary materials, checking for
their arrivals and create of missing materials list by projects.







This project’s primary objective is to stimulate the cooling tower performances for the countercurrent cooling tower and to conduct the parametric study under different water flow rates and air
flow rates in the cooling tower.

DIPLOMA IN HVAC DESIGNING & FIRE FIGHTING-MEP
Completed a certified Diploma course in HVAC (Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning) at Taiba
Engineering consultants, Kochi. Designing and Drafting of HVAC System manually by E-20 and HAP
(Hourly Analysis Programe). The syllabus of the program conducted is according to ASHRAE and
SMACANA Standards.
