QUMMIF, those of you who:
– demonstrate good knowledge of investment theory
– develop effective equity analysis skills and use of
Bloomberg by attending the FTP

involved along with the submission of a paragraph
description as to why you are interested in joining

– Complete the short knowledge tests on QM+
Action Point 2
• Join Groups of 3
– Once selected to participate, you will be allocated to, or

Teams of three share the roles of Analysts, Risk
assessors and Technical Analysts
• Each Group has one coordinator
• There is no limit to the number of Groups who can enter
a strategy investment for consideration.
• All entries must abide by the conditions of the selection
process and will be eliminated if they fall outside of
those conditions
Action Point 3
• QUMMIF Investment Report Pitch Presentation and
Election (November 2015)
– Submit a detailed synopsis of an intended strategy, a choice of
instrument, a risk assessment and a projected profit expectation
which will be assessed by a panel/judge.
– At the beginning of November an event will be organised during
which student presentations will be made to a panel of judges.
– The selected strategies, and those that best suit the investment
outlook and satisfy the expectations of the panel, will be able to
proceed to deployment.
Action Point 4
• Panel Decisions
– The panel/judges will make decisions regarding the selected investments
by the end of the week of November 15th 2015.
– Each group will be provided with feedback regarding the choices that are
made for moving forward to the investment stage.
• Execution of Strategies (November/December 2015)
– At the final decision taken by the panel, strategy selections will be made.
– After the selection process those successful student groups will be invited
to deploy their strategy which will be executed by a QM designated
manager.
– Every investment must be deployed by the end of the first semester
December 18th 2015.
