You can register for the SAT online at www.sat.collegeboard.org/register. It takes several weeks to receive test scores. Please plan accordingly if you would like to include these test scores on your college applications this fall. Barr-Reeve School Code Number: 152395 *Students planning on registering with the NCAA Clearinghouse must request all SAT scores be reported directly to the NCAA from the testing agency. Test scores that appear on transcripts will not be used. When registering for the SAT, use the clearinghouse code of 9999 to make sure the score is reported to the clearinghouse. *21st Century Scholars- Students who are enrolled in the 21st Century Scholars Program or Project Aspire can request fee waivers to waive the registration fees for SAT ($50). *Services for Students with Disabilities – Students who have a documented disability may be eligible to take the SAT with accommodations. The Martin County Learning Center is offering a SAT preparation workshop for collegebound high school students. This class will assist preparing students in securing competitively high scores for placement. This workshop is scheduled on Wednesdays, Oct. 10th through Oct. 31st. Cost for the session is $25.00. The Army has developed a new test prep program for you! March 2 Success is an online test prep course that will provide help with taking standardized tests, and improve math, language arts, and science skills. March 2 Success is a free program. The College Board is introducing important changes to help ensure greater fairness on test day. Effective with the October 2012 test, students will be prompted to provide a photo during registration for the SAT. Students must present their Admission Tickets (and acceptable photo ID) to enter the test center. Standby testing will not be permitted. Effective with the March 2013 SAT, students will be required to provide a photo during registration.
