Millicent Eubanks As a child, I was exposed to many faith traditions…Methodist, AME (African Methodist Episcopal), Baptist. But predominantly Baptist – my Mom was the Minister of Music at Mt Zion Baptist Church in Little Rock, Arkansas. I also attended Catholic and Episcopal schools that held chapel. I’m a graduate of Spelman College, in Atlanta and received my MBA from Atlanta University. I discovered New Thought in 1981 through Religious Science in Chicago. I became affiliated with Unity after I moved to the Washington area in 1989. I have been a very active member of Unity of Gaithersburg. Most recently, I joined Unity of Fairfax in 2010, after moving back to Reston, VA. I love Unity because it resonates with my soul as Truth. I found that new thought answered many of the questions I had as a child. As an adult, I find the philosophy is one that moderates the stressful environment that I work in. I work as a Financial Advisor and live in Reston. Dennis Green Chief, Accounting Operations Division for the Government Publishing Office, with a staff of 15 accountants, responsible for the accounting records, preparation of the financial statements, and assisting the independent auditors with the annual audit. Currently a volunteer member of the Association of Government Accountants National Budget and Finance Committee was very active as the Regional Vice President after being the Northern Virginia Chapter President (previous 6 years). Service at Unity of Fairfax includes Retreat Ministry, Budget and Finance Committee, and Fall Fest with several years working with Youth Education, Unity adults on the Volunteering Committee and Vision Quest workshop. Then extensive travel to North Carolina assisting at the United Methodist Church of Hope Mills where our daughter was the Youth and Family Director and she became a mother of three sons. The last three years we helped her family move to Greenville, NC for medical school. John Kell John, and his wife Bowman, have been Unity of Fairfax members since November, 2014. They have been members of Unity since 1990 when they were married at Unity of Houston. John is a retired banker, with 36 years of financial industry experience. Today, he and one of his sons own and operate a franchise sign company in Arlington, Va. John is active on the Board of Directors for Doorways for Women & Families and serves as Chairperson for the Finance Committee and also serves on the Development Committee. John formerly served as a Board member of the Arlington Chamber of Commerce and was active with several community organizations, including Capital Business Source, Inc., Frannet of VA network group, Northern Chapter of the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants and Greater Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants. John has a B.S. in economics from Virginia Tech and holds a number of banking industry certifications. A native Virginian, John lives in Vienna, VA with Bowman. They are grandparents and have four sons. Chip Roth It is no accident that the happiness I have achieved in life flows largely from the fact that I started in Unity at about the same time as I married Denise, my beautiful wife. The combination of these two realities, along with the presence of my children and my Unity family, has brought me limitless joy and love. Professionally, I started a consulting firm last year where my core client is VF Corporation, the largest apparel maker in the world. I am helping them elevate workplace safety standards in facilities located in 52 countries across the world for brands such as North Face, Timberland, Vans, Lee Jeans and Wrangler. I am also helping to launch an antihunger initiative for people in tropical and sub-tropical areas, where 80% of the world’s impoverished population lives. Previously, I worked as an international representative for the Teamsters union for 31 years.
