In Jesus name, Amen.” Dismiss the girls to give at the mailbox first, then the boys. FX: Song 3 (Host enters wearing cape as song is ending. Worship Team exits.) 6. Wrap-up Host I’ve learned a lot about being a superhero. We’ve talked about a lot of regular people, just like you and me, who did really COOL stuff like Esther and Gideon and David and Daniel. They were true heroes. And you know what else? I can be a superhero too! Not because I’m the coolest or strongest or fastest or smartest. Not because I can fly or walk through walls or leap tall buildings in a single bound. I can be a superhero by TRUSTING God! That’s amazing—because GOD is the ultimate power source and HE wants US to trust Him. God wants to have a relationship with us! We can all be superheroes, simply by trusting God! Trust God and you and you and you [point to different kids] and you and you and YOU can be superheroes! Who do we need to trust? Computer graphic: “Trust God and you can be a superhero!” Kids God! Host Wait. Who? Kids GOD! Host That’s right. So let’s take a minute to thank God. > Cue: Prayer underscore Music underscore during prayer. Host Dear God, Thanks for giving us your word, the Bible. We’ve learned about all these amazing superheroes from it. And all of the people we’ve talked about were just regular men and women. They were heroes because they trusted you. Help us remember that we can be superheroes just like David or Daniel or Esther when we trust you too. You are AWESOME, God! There is NO ONE like you. We love you. Amen. Host dismisses kids to small groups. March 7th and 8th: Small Groups Superhero Headband What You Need: Superhero headbands for each child Fabric markers What You Do: 9 Give each child a superhero headband and place the markers in the center of the small group area. 9 Have the kids color their headbands 9 Review the different superpowers for each hero while the kids are coloring. 9 Instruct the kids to draw pictures of themselves on the headbands What You Say: 9 Our superheroes are so cool. It has been so much fun learning about their powers. I like seeing your faces on your headbands. I believe you are ALL superheroes. We cannot do anything SUPER without asking God to give us strength.
