1. Key Strategic Activities by Strategic Direction
Council delivers activities and initiatives under three strategic directions and ten priority outcomes. Each strategic
direction has a clearly defined objective, each of which is described below.
A number of key strategies and master plans have been developed by Council to assist in achieving these
objectives. Based on these strategies, Council has identified a series of key actions that will be undertaken for
the 2012-2013 year.
The following table shows by strategic direction, the strategies developed and the key strategic activities that
Council plans to undertake and how we will measure our success.

2. Financial Impacts of Activities and Initiatives
The Annual Budget converts the activities and initiatives identified in the plan into financial terms to ensure there
are sufficient resources for their achievement. Listed in Appendix 5 are Councils detailed financial commitments
to achieving the plan. The table below summarises Council expenditure by Arena.
