Based on our enrollment of 974 students taken on “snapshot day” October 2011, (currently 983), we are classified as a 3A high school in Texas. Our students participate in a variety of activities such as: band, FFA, athletics, choir, our drill team the “Derby Dolls”, cheerleading, and have opportunities to learn several vocations such as welding and woodworking. They also have the opportunity to join several clubs such as Power Set, WIT, and Drama. We also offer AP and dual-credit courses in conjunction with Wharton County Junior College (WCJC) for college bound students in all core area classes.
