Re: Process change on inbound routing and appointment scheduling

Dear Suppliers,

Effective February 16, 2015 , all vendors are to begin routing their Ascena purchase orders via the Unyson

Logistics Web Portal. This will include POs for all brands; Dressbarn, Justice, Catherines, Lane Bryant, and

Maurices. Vendors will be required to use the Unyson Logistics Web Portal for the routing of all shipments with an aggregate weight over 150lbs, and this new process will replace all other methods for routing and scheduling transportation.

There are a series of Web Portal training sessions throughout the upcoming weeks (schedule below). Please ensure that a representative from your company attends at least one training session held by Unyson Logistics.

Please be sure that at least one representative per vendor is in the shipping department and will actually be the user of the tool. Other attendees are welcome, and you may attend multiple sessions if you wish, but participation by the actual users in at least one session is essential.

Please reference the Quick Start Guide that provides a step by step walk through of the Unyson Web Portal that will be referenced during the training sessions and will be available for review at any time afterward.

I If you have any questions or need to schedule additional training please contact ascenarouting@unyson.com

or call 855-845-2443.

Sincerely,

Ascena Retail Group

Frequently asked Questions:

Q: Is Unyson replacing PT in the commercial zones?

A: Yes and no. Today most bookings go to PT, while larger bookings go to Ascena Transportation.

As of February 16, 2015, all bookings in the commercial zones will go to Unyson, who will pass certain orders through to PT for pickup. The shipper will only need to create a single booking with

Unyson regardless of who picks up the freight.

Q: I’m a 3PL – can I make a booking for multiple clients at once?

A: Yes! Unyson’s booking tool can support a 3PL or warehouse booking on behalf of their clients.

Details on how to do this will be provided in the upcoming training sessions.

Q: Will vendors/suppliers be given log in / set up instructions for Unyson prior or after the online demos?

A: Vendors can register in the Unyson system when the follow-up notification from Ascena with final schedules and details is released. Vendors will register and Unyson will associate the registration with the vendor’s supplier ID. Having this step completed prior to the online training will allow the vendor to follow along during the session. The registration process is self-driven, meaning

Unyson will not create one for each supplier, but each user will register themselves, and then

Unyson will associate the registration to the particular vendor number. Further details on this process will be included in Ascena’s follow-up communication.

Q: How do I register?

A: Details will be provided in the upcoming communication that will include training schedules.

Q: How do I know how many days prior to cancel date I need to book?

A: This will be covered in an upcoming routing guide update and will be discussed as a part of the online training sessions.

Q: How do I count the days prior to booking?

A: This will be discussed as a part of the online training sessions.

Q: How early can I route?

A: Routing can be done up to 3 weeks before the requested pickup. However, pickup can only be scheduled within the window established by the Routing Portal, which will be explained as a part of the online training sessions.

Q: Will Unyson’s Routing Portal redirect me to another booking portal?

A: No. If the Routing Guide instructs you to book with Unyson, Unyson’s Routing Portal will be the only tool you will need to use, and Unyson will pass along to PT or other carrier as needed.

Please submit any additional questions related to this upcoming change to dave.campbell@AscenaRetail.com

& sherry.linson@ascenaretail.com

. All questions will be answered in a frequently asked questions format and communicated back out to the Vendor Community.
