FIXTURELESS APIVS
 Goal is to isolate the API software for testing.
 Proposed that special drivers be used which can perform the crossing of ports internal to the
controller unit.
 This supports a user need expressed during the site interviews to not use a test fixture.
 Discussed that this approach would lead to being able to test API software on a Linux PC.
 It was proposed that the responding process to the messages be configured with flat files suitable for
the test.
 A preliminary run could be made that would capture the flat file information. Those files could be
used in subsequent tests.
 It was discussed that it is possible that it may be possible to run tests faster than real-time.
 Motion #1 by Mark Simpson to change the APIRI project to use the fixtureless approach for
the APIVS. Seconded by George Chen. Motion Passed [8/0/0].
APIRI UPDATE PROPOSALS
 Discussed “Add Transaction to fio_fiod_outputs_set.”
– Motion #2 made by George Chen to accept the proposed solution. Seconded by Jarrid
Gross. Motion Passed [6/1/1].
 Discussed “Add Frame Sent Callback.”
– Motion #3 made by Jarrid Gross to accept the proposed solution. Seconded by George
Chen. Motion Passed [8/0/0].
