A proposal document from Intelight for changes or clarifications to the API standard and APIRI software was sent out prior to the teleconference. See “APIRI WG Update Proposals-JMG2.docx.” A MS PowerPoint presentation was sent from Ralph Boaz for a proposed fixtureless architecture for the API Validation Suite. See APIVSArchitectureOptions140527.ppt. The architecture approach was first proposed by Mark Simpson. Document1 Page 1 of 2 DRAFT FIXTURELESS APIVS Goal is to isolate the API software for testing. Proposed that special drivers be used which can perform the crossing of ports internal to the controller unit. This supports a user need expressed during the site interviews to not use a test fixture. Discussed that this approach would lead to being able to test API software on a Linux PC. It was proposed that the responding process to the messages be configured with flat files suitable for the test. A preliminary run could be made that would capture the flat file information. Those files could be used in subsequent tests. It was discussed that it is possible that it may be possible to run tests faster than real-time. Motion #1 by Mark Simpson to change the APIRI project to use the fixtureless approach for the APIVS. Seconded by George Chen. Motion Passed [8/0/0]. APIRI UPDATE PROPOSALS Discussed “Add Transaction to fio_fiod_outputs_set.” – Motion #2 made by George Chen to accept the proposed solution. Seconded by Jarrid Gross. Motion Passed [6/1/1]. Discussed “Add Frame Sent Callback.” – Motion #3 made by Jarrid Gross to accept the proposed solution. Seconded by George Chen. Motion Passed [8/0/0].
