Ralph Brandonisio “I like to be a positive influence on youth players and watch their development” Ralph also coaches because he is passionate about hockey…”it has been a part of my life since I was 4 years old”. The last team Ralph coached was a squirt #3 team. “Through the hard work of the players and the full commitment and patience of the parents, we developed into a respectable silver (A) team over the course of the season. Every player on that team noticeably improved.” Like any coach in any sport, Ralph has experienced his share of funny moments coaching hockey. “My mite goalie caught my wrist shot once while I was demonstrating a drill…..he stood there…..staring at his glove….after a long pause, he broke into a huge smile. We had to postpone the drill so he could celebrate his moment of glory! Now he stops me all the time…it is not that cute anymore!” Ralph has coached with the Cyclones since 2004, at just about every level. He enjoys working with the Cyclones because of all the families who dedicate countless hours to insure a great product and a positive environment for the players. His players will learn how to support and build up their teammates, respect for the game, the coaches, and the officials and how to give 100% all the time. They will also learn the meaning of accountability. Ralph and his wife Shaye have two children, Vitonio is 15 and Ava is 12.
