WHAT IS A WEBMASTER?
• A person who manages the information content EX. (Words & Pictures)
• Organization of a website
• Manages the computer server and technical programming. (aspects of a
website)
• 10 hours/week
7 ELEMENTS
1. Maintains and inventory of advertisements and manages the ad server software
2. Debug issues that arise with the performance of the website
3. Interface for performance issues
4. Troubleshoot the site
5. Review statistic and monitor analytics
6. Maintain responsive design
7. Plan for future changes to the website
HOURS AND PAY
• 10 hours per week
• $15.00 per hour you work
SALARY
• $61,250 - $99,250 – 2012
• Annual pay now - $69,405 is 50% of the people
who are webmasters.
• In U.S expected to make less then $69,405.

ASPX, HTML / CSS, PHP, MySQL, Javascript / jQuery, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Dreamweaver

Efficient and effective ability to design and hand code websites in WordPress, Drupal, and .NET platforms

Be able to run and manage hosting environments and servers

Able to code responsive design websites

Able to code mobile websites

Google Analytics and Google AdWords Conversion code implementation required

Automate rule development for report generation through Google Analytics and other reporting programs

Effective Client communication – both written and oral skills. Be able to provide email, and phone support as well as customer training as
required
