Driven by our personal history, we choose and build relationships with people who will help us meet our present needs, fulfill our expectations, and if we're lucky, work through our issues and grow in the directions in which we need to grow. In some cases a relationship with a person or a group of people can be severely dysfunctional and debilitating, which results in a lack of growth and satisfaction. How do relationships shape values, actions and lives? Writing Assignment # 2 The Power of Imagination Albert Einstein once said: "Imagination is everything. It is the preview for life's coming attractions." Below are two interesting images. Choose one of the images and then create an imaginative piece that supports or opposes Einstein’s claim. The focus for this piece is to use strong figurative language, imagination and alternative perspectives. Writing Assignment # 3 Final Reflections For this section you are required to answer the following four questions. Each question is worth five points. Question 1 Do you see yourself as a writer? Why or why not? Question 2 How has your writing changed throughout the semester? Question 3 Where is there room for you to improve your writing? Question 4 Resubmit ONE writing assignment that you are particularly proud of. Explain why you chose this piece and how it best represents who you are as a writer.
