About Project Team:
DWN Members are invited to apply for roles on the following project teams to develop two new
Dairy Modules to be delivered in 2015.
The role as a project team member is a voluntary position, with an expectation that you will be able
to demonstrate the following values at all times:
Innovative, Credible, Inclusive, Committed, Integrity
A small honorarium will be paid on completion and successful contribution to the module. You will
be expected to contribute to the project team and attend meetings as per table 1 for the respective
modules.
We are looking for:

4 DWN members for the Health & Safety module. Two from North Island and two from
South Island. DWN members being part of this module have the opportunity to be trained to
present the Health & Safety module to dairy farming women at a minimum of 5 regional
module meetings and the October Regional Convenor Training in North & South Island
(Hamilton and Christchurch).
Successful applicants will receive training and coaching to enable them to present the
module. If you have a passion for improving Health and Safety on-Farm this is your chance to
make a difference and at the same time develop your ability to present training and add
skills and experience to your CV.
A $500 token of appreciation will be paid on completion and successful contribution to the
module. You will be expected to contribute to the project team and attend meetings as per
table 1 for the respective modules. As a presenter you will be paid $500 per day plus travel
and accommodation will be booked through DWN.
This project will be project managed by Lynda Clark, an experienced and passionate project
manager and skilled trainer and educator

3 DWN members, for the Budgeting module. 1 member to be a project team leader and the
other two to be from North Island and from South Island. DWN members being part of this
module have the opportunity to be trained to present the Budgeting module to DWN
members at a minimum of 5 module meetings and the October Regional Convenor Training
in North & South Island.
Successful applicants will receive training and coaching to enable them to present the
module. If you have a passion for on-farm budgeting as an efficient management tool and
would like to share your experience and passion with DWN members, this might just be the
role for you. It will also provide you with the opportunity to gain experience in presenting
training modules and adding skills to your CV.
The Team leader will be a part-time fixed term contract position from the 8 June until 16
October 2015. Hourly rates are negotiable between the contractor and DWN. We envisage
an average time allocation of 10 hours per week during the contract period. The first two
months could potentially be a higher allocation than 10 hours per week, while the latter part
of the project will potentially be at a lower allocation.

Each Project team will be led by a project team leader. Each project team will need to work within a
budget, implement a timeline and marketing plan, and create a follow-up workbook and a marketing
video.
