Colors affect you in many ways. Look at these

Of the colors. Few people are aware of the power of
color. Color can help you present yourself in a
particular way, that is why it is important to understand
color when picking your clothing and designs.
Understanding Color Terms










Hue: the name of a color
Value: the lightness or darkness of a color
Tint: light value of a color, made by adding white to a color
Shade: dark value of a color, made by adding black to a color
Tone: to change the intensity of a color add gray and you get a tone.
The intensity of a color is how bright or dull it is.
Neutrals are black, white, and gray.
White is the absence of color and it reflects light.
Black is the presence of all colors and it absorbs light.
Gray is a blend of black and white.

The color wheel is a chart that shows the relationship among colors.

Primary colors are red,
yellow, and blue and
cannot be made by
combining any other
colors.
Secondary colors are
two primary colors
mixed together to make
orange, green, and
violet.
Tertiary/Intermediate
colors are one primary
color mixed with one
secondary color to make
a new color.
