Depression is the fourth major cause of disability. 65% of those seeking treatment seek care from their primary care physician and only about half of those are diagnosed accurately. Inadequate doses of prescriptions. Only one in ten patients actually gets appropriate treatment. Only one-third of those diagnosed with depression are treated into remission.
