Quietest Laser projector in its segment *35dBA noise level with no disturbing noise
frequencies
Loud or annoying noise during meetings or events is
disturbing for the users. It reduces the meeting
efficiency and results into complaints to the AV
manager. In events it can have a negative effect on
the event experience
Meassured noise level of 35dBA
Frequency graph shows no or little frequency peaks in the
noise spectrum while it does have these disturbing noise
frequencies on products from competition
we have done a blind auditive test to compare the noise
levels of the projectors and 80% of the people preferred the
PGWU-62L
Very competitive and Attractive price point
High acquisition cost - budgets for capex and opex
are limited in a lot of AV installations - The midsegment projection market is a commoditised
market with limited differentiation and a lot of
competition - pricing is one of the main decision
criteria
Overview of pricing from competition shows that we are
priced very competitively and attractively

Key Selling Point
Low weight of 16kg
Ease of installation and ease handling is low
for heavy equipment.
Especilally in rental applications where equipment is moving a lot, lighter
equipment is more interesting
The weight of the projector is with 16kg substantially lower than the Sony and
Panasonic projectors at 23kg. NEC and Christie have the same weight as the
PGWU-62L
Maintenance Free - No need to service
the projector during the lifetime of the
projector – cost reduction for the enduser because there is no lamp & filter
cost and no service intervention
Lamp based projectors have to be serviced
and maintained - lamp and filter changes are
required on a regular basis.
For installations with limited access, the cost
of the maintenance is substantial.
Solid state light or Laser based light, does not require any lamp changes
during the lifetime of the projector. The PGWU-62L is also designed not to
have any filters. This means that no regular maintenance for lamps and filters
is required. For fixed installations, this is a substantial advantage to the enduser since the cost of maintenance and consumables is going to be
substantially lower + there is no operation interrupt
Lamp Free - No risk of lamp faillure –
no risk of screen “down” or issues with
presentation caused by the lamp
Mercury-free because no UHP lamps
Lamps need to be replaced at the end of the
With a laser projector, most of the hassle and risks of lamps are eliminated.
lifetime; lamps can cause limited flicker; lamps
are not well predictable in terms of lifetime
and performance; lamps contain mercury
Choice of WXGA and WUXGA
resolution at 2 price points
Different applications require different
performance and different pricepoints.
13
We offer 2 resolutions at different price points to be able to offer the best
price/value fir for the customer.
Sony is offering only WUXGA and is subsequently not able to meet low price
requirements of certain customers
Panasonic offers both resolutions, but is asking a huge price premium for the
WUXGA product

Key Selling Point
Fast Start-up
People don't want to wait until they can start the meeting or share
content because of technology not being ready - in meeting rooms
with a lamp-based projector, people have to wait a certain period of
time before they can share content because the projector is still
starting up. This start-up typically has a negative impact on the
meeting efficiency except if projectors are kept on all the time, but
this comes at an operation cost (lamps)
Laser projectors have a very fast start-up - The PGWU-62L
delivers image on screen after less than 10 seconds - this
means not interupt in meetings
Our competitors have similar start-up speeds - Panasonic is
slightly slower because their electronics still need to start up not a huge difference
360° operation
installation flexibility of lamp based projection is often limited
because the rotation of the projector has a negative impact on the
lamp lifetime. For certain applaications, this limits the way projection
can be used. For example portrait mode in events or advertising
applaications is not possible today or is complicated
The PGWU-62L allows full rotation flexibility.
Improved Color performance
Customers need to make a trade-off between color performance and Laser phosphor projectors are offering an improved color
brightness with lamp based 1DLP projectors.
performance while still delivering high brigthness. The color
brightness of the individual colors is higher on the primary
and secundary colors than with equivalent lamp based
projectors.

Key Selling Point
Simple user interface, simple
remote
people struggle when accessing the user menu - it is
confusing, too complex, has too many features... - this
results into service calls to the helpdesk
Our menu structure and remote control is very simple, limited to the
features that people understand and access frequently.
Unique and nice looking product
design
Most of the projectors are designed for cost and
manufacturability - the design aspect of it is completely
disgarded. On the other hand, companies are investing
more and more in comfortable, modern and innovative
office spaces where people can work efficiently and
proudly and look for products that fit this objective
Our product design combines the awarded projectiondesign design
and the present-p design aspects into a modern and distinguised
product design. It blends in with the environment and matches with
the style and design requirements of modern age offices.
Integration of HDBase-T and
CSM
AV managers and installers want to have the flexibility and
choice to select the right connectivity to the display device,
now and in the future. Adding a external converter or
connectivity device adds cost and complexity
The PGWU-62L allows a very simple integration of the CSM module
inside the projector, so no need for an additional mount or cables or
installation cost when you want to combine the projector with the
CSM. We also offer an HDBaseT module if customers want to use
HDBaseT as the standard for video connection. This module is also
well integrated inside the projector.
