 A user: a person or group of persons , for whom the system analyst builds and maintain business information system and computer applications .
 System user: all individuals who either have direct contact with an IS or application or use information ( reports) generated by the system

Who have direct contact to information system and customer , use the information from information system

 System owner: the relationship of IS and computer applications they are who pay to have the systems and applications developed and maintained . they also approve technology , any business changes. Decide payments / budget
