Speaker's Bio:
David G. Henry, Sr., a registered patent attorney, is a member and Practice Group Leader in law
firm of Dykema Gossett, PLLC, specializing in patent, trademark and copyright litigation,
prosecution, and transactions.
David:
(1) advises companies (large and small) on intellectual property strategic planning and
management,
(2) litigates intellectual property cases throughout the United States,
(3) prosecutes patent applications before the U.S. and foreign patent offices, and
(4) regularly speaks at bar association and professional conferences on Intellectual Property
issues.
As "Professor Henry", David has taught patent and trademark courses at Baylor Law School
since 1994, and recently began teaching in the highly ranked Entrepreneurship Program of
Baylor's Hankamer School of Business.
As a self-described "poster child" for ADHD, and for a time himself a high school drop out, David's
passions include mentoring young people, particularly those facing challenges and setbacks.
David serves as the Faculty Advisor to several student organizations at Baylor University, and, as
a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Forceʼs Auxiliary serving as his unit's Public Affairs
Officer, speaks at schools and youth events on the attainability of dreams.

his popular and unique photography collection gathered during his frequent flights (as pilot)
throughout the United States.
