Beauty/Ugly Collage (Due Wednesday)
For this project you have two options:
1) Take a piece of paper and divide it in half. Fill one side with pictures/images/words that you find
“beautiful”. Fill the other side with pictures/images/words you find to be “ugly”. Be ready to defend
your reasoning…be able to answer why you chose the images that you did.
2) Fill a piece of paper with pictures/images/words that most people would define as “ugly”. Be ready to
defend these items as examples of beauty.
Collages receive full credit when ALL or MOST of the paper is covered, when there are many, many examples
to look at, and when all items can be defended, if asked. All collages will be presented to the whole class at the
end of the hour on Wednesday.
