Mark Elliott, Executive Consultant (13 years direct Ag

Jay is a veteran of the agricultural, biotechnology, seed
and crop protection business with extensive experience in
staffing and business management. He has a proven
track record in various management position with
American Cyanamid, ConAgra/UAP and Monsanto. While
serving as marketing manager with American Cyanamid,
Jay developed marketing strategies for the PURSUIT ®
herbicide product line in the U.S., resulting in
unprecedented revenue growth and operating earnings.
He earned a B.S. from Western Illinois University.
Mark brings unique field and management experience
from his days in the agricultural equipment business.
Mark spent 18 years as a Regional Manager, Operations
Manager and Account Manager serving John Deere.
Mark maintains several key contacts within the agricultural
capital equipment and plant nutrient industries. He
earned a B.S. from Illinois State University.
Chris Gerth, Executive Consultant (10 years direct Ag
recruiting experience with Morris Bixby Group)
Chris has extensive experience in the finance sector. He
previously worked for Farm Credit Services, specializing
in Ag Finance and Crop Insurance. In addition, he has
several years of recruiting experience in food, fiber, grain,
and industrial processor industries. He earned a B.S.
from Illinois State University, where he served as
president of Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity.
Bill Randell, Executive Consultant (7 years direct Ag
recruiting experience with Morris Bixby Group)
Bill is a well-known veteran of the agricultural crop
protection business, having extensive sales and sales
management experience with Stauffer Chemical,
American Cyanamid and Monsanto. In addition, Bill has
served on the board of directors of the Illinois Fertilizer
and Chemical Association, and as Chairman of the
Industry Communications committee of the Mid America
Crop Life Association. His B.S. degree is from the
University of Illinois.

Lisa Taphorn, Executive Consultant (6 years direct Ag

Michelle Elston, Information Manager (6 years direct Ag
research experience with Morris Bixby Group)
Lisa enhances our animal/genetics business with her
previous field sales experience in both the pharmaceutical
and medical sales field. Prior to joining Morris Bixby, Lisa
worked for Sherwood Medical selling medical supplies to
hospitals and for Pfizer marketing pharmaceutical
products to physicians and other medical
professionals. She earned her B.S. from Illinois State
University with majors in both Marketing and International
Business. With the ever changing and diverse climate of
the animal health business, she will be a positive asset to
your strategic placement needs.
Michelle is a recent graduate of Illinois State University.
She gained comprehensive computer skills as a Business
Administration major with emphasis on Information
Systems. In addition, Michelle gained extensive business
experience as a Human Resources Intern at Caterpillar’s
Transmission Business Unit.
