Thunderbird Resume Template Instructions & Resume Samples

advertisement
Update your resume using the NEW Thunderbird resume template! After much feedback from students, the Spring PCA team revisited
the Thunderbird resume template to determine how to make it more effective. They researched industry trends, interviewed fellow
students and CMC staff, and consulted alumni recruiters to gain insight into content and format for the new resumes. As a result, 2
templates have been created.


Standard format that is appropriate for all students. As with the former Thunderbird resume template, you can choose a
Summary, Objective or Headline version.
Skills on the Side format, which is very similar to the version introduced to students some time ago.
These templates adhere to employer and recruiter preference of one "look and feel" for readability of resume books.
Action items for returning students: Update your resume using the new template.



Review new templates and resume samples.
Update your resume, using template, adding your summer experiences (internship, modules abroad, etc.)
o If you currently have the standard Thunderbird version, templates 1 or 2 will be the quickest, easiest conversion.
o If you currently have the Skills on the Side resume, NO further action is needed.
