• Heat measurement detectors are used where the
operation of detectors with open detection systems
is prohibited, e.g. colour mixing equipment, silos,
roller mills, refineries, airplane hangars, etc.
• Should be installed so that they are protected against
mechanical damage, but a good heat feed is possible
nevertheless
• Dust and dirt accumulations on the sensor tube
should be avoided
• Heat measurement detectors are unsuitable for the
following areas of application:
- Areas with high air currents, e.g. near air
conditioning and ventilation equipment,
- locations with direct sunlight.
