London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) is a membership organisation made up of thousands
of companies of all sizes and sectors, in every borough in London. There are currently three categories
of membership – Patron, Premier Plus, and Local (available through our branch chambers in Croydon,
Ealing, East London and Hammersmith & Fulham).
The Marketing team works across all teams and functions to support the delivery of LCCI’s business
goals – to maximise membership, influence, revenue and customer service. We are the custodian of the
LCCI brand and oversee all communication across online and offline channels. We are currently
embarking on an exciting project to introduce a new website and CRM system.
You will report to the Marketing Manager and work closely with our in-house designer on a day-to-day
basis, so there will be lots of experience and expertise to help you grow.
Your key responsibilities
1. Designing



create and update an array of print and digital marketing collateral including promotional material,
annual reports, brochures, banners, signage, adverts, eshots and other various web content. You
will be required to oversee these projects from initial brief to final artwork.
maintain and promote LCCI brand and house style guidelines
design and develop digital assets for website and social media
2. Imagery



source imagery for print marketing collateral and digital platforms
photo manipulation and editing
maintaining an image database of all photos, graphics and images used by the company,
including partner logos
3. Work scheduling and reporting



update and maintain a work production schedule under the guidance of Marketing Manager
operate within the day-to-day work plans to ensure deadlines are met
provide written and verbal updates on work progress as advised by Marketing Manager
4. Supplier Relationships

negotiate work quotes from suppliers, ensuring a full and clear schedule of work is provided to
them
5. Internal Client Relationships




agree a draft work plan within a suitable deadline, ensuring all parties are aware of their
responsibilities
meet clients to discuss their objectives and requirements of the job when necessary
interpret the client’s needs and develop a concept to suit their purpose
estimate the time required to complete work and providing quotes for clients when necessary
6. General responsibilities




deliver first-class customer service and support to colleagues, both in the Marketing team and
across teams
play an active part in team and staff meetings
present an efficient, professional and positive image of LCCI
undertake any other duties as requested by the Marketing Manager
Our perfect person
We are looking for you to bring to us:
o prior experience of successfully designing and implementing promotional or marketing materials
in both print and digital format (this could be in a professional, educational or voluntary
capacity).a good theoretical grounding in design related area
o advanced skills across Adobe Creative Suite CS6 (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
o proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
o proficient in using a Mac computer
In order to carry out the job role at a good standard we need you to have proven:
o creative design skills
o typographic skills
o attention to detail
o organisational skills
o ability to schedule design work
o interpersonal skills
o written and verbal communication skills
o experience of managing supplier and client expectations, with the tact and diplomacy that goes
with it

o Understanding of Membership Organisations
o Interest in London Chamber of Commerce
o Knowledge of print process
o Knowledge of HTML
o Knowledge of motion graphics, video and animation
