This revised course focuses on desktop publishing, graphic image design, computer animation, multimedia production, and webpage design. Communication skills and critical thinking are reinforced through software applications. Work-based learning strategies appropriate for this course are service learning, field trips, and job shadowing. Simulations, projects, teamwork, and FBLA leadership activities, meetings, conferences, and competitions provide opportunities for application of instructional competencies. Make-up Policy: Each student has five (5) days from the date of an absence to complete any makeup work. Testing Mastery Plan: Any student who fails to achieve 79% on major summative assessments will be eligible for reassessment. A mandatory tutoring session must be attended before a retake is scheduled. Arrangements will need to be made within a 5 day time period following the initial assessment.
