Commercial Booth Contract Form
This agreement, made this _____ day of _______, 2014, between the Spring Fling Committee of the Associated
Students of The University of Arizona (hereinafter referred to as “the committee”) and
________________________, (hereinafter referred to as “the club”). This agreement also incorporates by
reference the Spring Fling Cashier Personal Employment Contract per individual.
I. STAFFING
The committee mandates that members of each club or organization work as cashiers for the sale of admission
tickets or for the sale of scrip tickets for the following times (dependent upon club size):
50 or more members = (10) three-hour shiftstotal of 30 hours
30 - 49 members = (7) three-hour shiftstotal of 21 hours
20 –29 members = (6) three-hour shiftstotal of 18 hours
Less than 20 members = (4) three-hour shiftstotal of 12 hours
These individuals will serve during the 2014 Spring Fling carnival, beginning the 11th of April, and continuing to
and including the 13th day of April 2014. This numbers are subject to change at the Business Director’s discretion.
II. FINES AND SANCTIONS
A. The club agrees to indemnify the committee for any shortages in receipts that might occur in the sale of
the scrip and/or admission tickets, irrespective of the cause thereof.
B. The amount of shortages will be deducted from the club’s revenue earned.
C. The club agrees and understands that any cashiering discrepancy, in excess of FIVE AND NO/100
($5.00) DOLLARS will be deducted from the club’s net scrip revenue.
D. FIFTY AND NO/100 ($50.00) DOLLARS will be deducted from the club’s revenue earned for each
club member not present at one of the scheduled cashier training sessions.
E. ONE HUNDRED AND NO/100 ($100.00) DOLLARS will be deducted from the club’s revenue
earned for each club member not present for the assigned shift.
F. ONE HUNDRED AND NO/100 ($100.00) DOLLARS will be deducted from the club’s revenue for
each club member arriving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
G. TWENTY-FIVE AND NO/100 ($25.00) DOLLARS will be deducted from the club’s revenue earned
for each club member who fails to arrive fifteen (15) minutes before the assigned shift.
H. ONE HUNDRED AND NO/100 ($100.00) DOLLARS will be required from the club for reluctance to
participate in Spring Fling 2014 following the seventh of March, 2014. If the club repudiates this term,
consideration for participation in Spring Fling 2014 and thereafter will be compromised.
III. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CLUB:
A. The club shall be responsible, in all respects, for the actions and conduct of its members, and be the
signature of its authorized representative below, agrees that its members should have no claims upon
the committee, but instead shall look solely to the club for any claim of any nature.
B. The club shall, concurrently with the execution thereof, designate in writing, an authorized
representative to receive notices of performance and/or non-performance.
C. The club shall understand that only club members who are currently enrolled at The University of
Arizona will be eligible to participate as Spring Fling cashiers and to be designated as authorized
representatives, as described in III B.

Liability Release
Any club or organization choosing to operate a booth, exhibit, game or any other related
activity at the ASUA Spring Fling, assumes all responsibility for any personal, club or
organizational items that are lost, damaged or stolen. This shall include any equipment, supplies
or personal items that are used in the operation of the said activity or can be found within the
space of the booth, exhibit, game or other activity. You are not allowed to remain on the Spring
Fling field after operational hours due to security reasons. The University of Arizona, ASUA
Spring Fling or any of its volunteer workers are not liable for any acts committed thereof.
Security provided by the ASUA Spring Fling and its contractors are limited to the general
protection of the area and its perimeter.
