We are seeking passionate and skilled mental health professionals to join our dynamic headspace team, to provide a clinical mental health service to young people aged 12-25 with mental health, general health, vocational and/or AOD concerns within an innovative early intervention framework. Private practitioner positions within headspace Edinburgh North are currently available, with generous private practitioner agreements (headspace will provide you with all ongoing referrals, some administration assistance and room space at no cost). Key Requirements: Approved tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work or occupational therapy. A registered Psychologist, Mental Health Accredited Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist. Experience in the assessment, diagnosis and provision of evidence based treatments of mental health disorders. Must be excellent at engaging young people and able to provide a youth friendly and inclusive therapeutic service of a high level of quality. Ability to work independently, with strong organisational and time management skills A current working with Children Check and be willing to undertake a Criminal History check Must be eligible to provide services under the Medicare Benefits Scheme: Better Outcomes for Mental Health Initiative. Be registered with Medicare Australia and have a Medicare Provider number.
